"hebrew was a dead language until zionists revived it" is just a zionist myth btw. as a conversational language for every daily activity, Hebrew stopped being used during the Babylonian exile. however, it continued being used as a liturgical language, for scholarly works (like the Shulchan Aruch, Rashi's commentaries, mishna and gemara, etc.) mundane communications between Jewish communities (often for trade but also Jews moved around a lot, traveled, etc.), and many other purposes. there were Hebrew language newspapers being published before the Hebrew revival movement, because it was a living language understood by tons of literate Jews. it was used frequently enough that there are distinct dialects of Hebrew. Modern Standard Hebrew, much like Modern Standard Arabic, created a unified pronunciation and grammar to be used across different dialects of the language. and Hebrew was used frequently enough to affect the grammar and vocabulary of Jewish diaspora languages, such as Ladino, Judeo-Aramaic, Yiddish, Judeo-Persian, etc.. zionists want you to believe they "revived a dead language" because it makes them look like redeemers of a unified sense of being a Jewish people and the creation of a unified Jewish culture (still untrue)
