I have seen rosary-style necklaces on lots of celebrities recently. I decided to make my own and it was very easy. Here is a DIY for a rosary-style necklace.
What you need:
long strand of beads
A crystal, cross, or some other piece
pliers
jump rings that open
*My beads are from KasketKustoms and crystal is from Alternative Project on Etsy
1) Try and buy the beads in a long strand. Count out how many beads you want on the main part. With the pliers separate these from the rest of the strand.
2) Next count how many beads you want for the drop (I did 5) and take these from the rest of the strand.
3) Now you should have two strands...your main necklace and the necklace drop
4) Connect the ends of the main necklace with a jumpring so it forms a circle
5) Add another jump ring and connect your "drop" (smaller strand of beads to hang down)
6) Finally use a jump ring to connect your piece at the bottom
Super EASY and CUTE!
Enjoy!

Coats with big collars are in for winter. I LOVE this one from Zara.
Almost every time I see a choker on someone I think of the short story, The Black Velvet Ribbon. Chokers are in style this Fall and this inexpensive one from H&M looks great and won't make people think your head is going to roll to the ground if you take it off.

This month's Lucky Magazine mentions these cool retro motel keychains. They are $12 at pinupgirlclothing.com or you can find similar old school keychains cheaper on Ebay.
Frieda and Nellie make awesome jewelry!! Frieda's bracelets combine vintage rhinestones with colorful friendship bracelets. Since I don't have $100 to spend on the real thing, I decided to create my own!
How to create an imitation Frieda bracelet for under $10:
>Thread (35 cents at craft store)
>Rhinestone bracelet (mine is from Claires...$9)
Create a friendship bracelet. There are MANY patterns to choose from. I did an easy one, the candy stripe-- http://www.how-to-make-jewelry.com/friendship-bracelet-instructions.html
After you have completed the friendship bracelet you simply wind it through the gaps in your rhinestone bracelet and attach to back. You can attach the friendship bracelet directly to the rhinestone bracelet OR just tie the two ends of the friendship together at the back.
*To simplify the process even more you could buy a pre-made friendship bracelet
*Note: Although the neon thread adds a pop of bright color, it is a lot more difficult to work with and a little more expensive
*Nail Polish is OPI Fancy Fuchsia

blame it on my ADD baby...
Putting feathers extensions in your hair is extremely popular in California. It costs around $15 at salons or farmers markets. However, you can do it yourself and have extras for much cheaper. Get ready for summer festivals with these...
What you need:
A feather or feathers
1 microbead (use microbeads/micro links like the ones sold by plumetopia on esty)
1 crochet hook (you can buy one at Michaels for cheap)
1 needle nose pliers (or crimping pliers)
Steps:
1) separate hair where you want to put feather
2) Put microbead on crochet hook
3) Using crochet hook pull a small amount of hair through microbead
4) Put end of feather in microbead (make sure everything is positioned fairly close to your scalp)
5) Squeeze microbead with pliers until microbead is flat and securely holding feather and small amount of hair
*Most feathers can be washed, straightened, or curled
