You were trying to find your way back to your dad. He worked as a staff member for one of your favorite band : Twenty One Pilots. You knew that some people would say you were lucky or things like that but truth be told you never met them. Not even once.
Firstly, your dad worked with the staff crew so when you did come to see your dad you usually ended up with the staff crew. Secondly, you never went with your dad when he was touring with them. It was the first time you did and it was because it was for your birthday. You were finally twenty ! And your dad thought that you could come with him, see different countries and cities. It was exciting.
Until you got lost in this huge parking lot with at least fifty different cars and buses and you didn’t know which one was the one you were supposed to wait your dad in.
What the hell ? Where is this car ?
Luckily you would not be throw out of here by the security since you got a pass but it wasn’t even funny. You were tired. Very very tired. Between you insomnia and the fact that you were running everywhere even though you slept like two hours by night… well. You were so tired that you were about to cry. No, I will not cry. This is not the fucking moment. You thought. You decided to sit in front of one of the buses, maybe someone would know where to find your dad. And before anyone asked “why don’t they use their phone ?” you didn’t have any battery left. Great, right ?
You sat down in front of one bus, trying to cover more of yourself with your jacket because it was cold. You were desperate. You were tired. Finally you heard people talking and laughing and you jumped on your feet. You walked fast and stood in the middle of the road, looking around and seeing a group of person just a few feet away.
You decided to ask them, maybe they knew where your dad was !
- Hey ! you said loudly as you trot over to them. Excuse me but do you know where I can find the… You stopped mid-sentence as you realized it was Josh Dun, Tyler Joseph and their guard. Uh.. sorry, you said as you realized you just stood there fixing them.
- You’re looking for your dad ? Tyler asked you nicely.
- Yeah, he told me to go to the bus next to the car we used but… too many buses, too many cars. I don’t know where I have to go and my phone died…
- Is your dad a staff member ? Josh asked.
- Yeah, as far as I know you know him, his name’s Y/F/N, you said with a sight.
- Oh yeah ! We told him to join us in our bus, and he told us about you ! He said he’ll send you a text to let you know but since your phone died you probably didn’t receive it, Josh said with a smile.
You didn’t have time to answer before Tyler said, with enthusiasm, that you’ll join them. Next thing you knew you were guided by them as they talked. They make you participate in their discussion and you tried to not sound too weird.
- Here we are, Tyler said before opening the door and taking a bow. Get in, Milady.
- Thank you sir, you laughed as you got in.
You turn your head and saw you dad.
- I called you almost five times ! He said as he got up to hug you.
- My phone died like two hours ago, at the end of the concert. By chance i met those three who got me there, you reassured him as you pointed to the guys.
- Ooooh I see, your dad said with a wink.
- I don’t even know what your implying but whatever it was I don’t want to know.
- Oh nothing, I’m going to sleep though, tomorrow I’m the one driving. Good night, your dad said.
He hugged you before saluting everybody and getting out, soon followed by the others. The only one remaining were you, Tyler, Josh and Mark.
- So, do you like the band ? Mark asked you.
- Yeah, it’s one of my favorite ! That’s why I got this kind of weird moment of silence sooner, you answered.
- Ahah no worries it was kind of funny, Josh said smiling.
- That’s not really nice, you said to him, throwing a pillow to his head.
- I’m gonna sleep, Mark said.
- Bye, have a nice sleep ! you told him.
- Hey, Y/N ! Josh called you.
- Yeah ? you answered turning your head to him to only get a pillow right into your face.
You stayed silent for a moment before sending him a pillow and that is how a huge pillow fight took place in bus. In the middle of this fight, as Tyler decided to betray Josh for you, you started to laugh. Soon Josh joined you and Tyler decided to leave you two as he went to sleep. You laughed so hard that you ended up laying face down on the floor as Josh was trying to stay on it, being bend in two.
You sat at his feet, trying to breath normally again.
- Oh my… It’s been a while since I last laugh that much, you said.
- I would say same but I spend all my time with my best friend so it’s not true ! Josh answered you.
- Fair enough, you said bending a bit toward him.
- But it was a good laugh though, he said, bending a bit over you too.
- Yeah, you murmured before he kissed you.
It was kind of sudden kind of not. Four hours earlier you would never thought he would have kissed you but the more the evening had moved forward the more you felt this kind of attraction between you both, but you thought it was a one-way thing and that you imagined the smiles and little glances he sent your way.
You separated after a bit.
- Sorry, he murmured looking into your eyes.
- Why ? you asked him as silently as he spoke.
- Because… I don’t know, he chuckled.
- So don’t be, you chuckled back.
You stayed silent for a little while before you started to feel really tired.
- We’re already on the road, Josh said a bit embarrassed.
- Yeah I know, you said silently. I’ll sleep on the sofa. You know it’s pretty comfortable, you said.
- You can take my bunk, he said.
- No it’s ok. I’ll stay here. But if you could be really nice you could keep me company until i fall asleep, you said shyly.
- Ahah, ok ! I can do that, he answered.
- Shhh guys stay silent, i want this pic to be perfect, a voice said.
You rolled over, feeling something warm behind you. You turned and buried your head into the soft and warm thing.
- So cute, you heard.
- The fuck ? you mumble still half asleep.
- Hanw you woke them up, someone said, probably pouting.
You opened your eyes, only seeing, yup, that is skin. You jumped back. And felt on the floor. You looked up and saw Tyler, Mark and an other guy (but you only saw his feet). You got up and saw Josh laying on the sofa, where you were just sleeping seconds before.
You blushed from head to toe but Josh were smiling proudly.
- I hope you didn’t do anything on this sofa. I love this sofa, Mark said.
- Oh my god no ! We didn’t do anything.
- Whatever you say, Mark joked.
- Urgh I hate you all, you said blushing harder. Tell them ! You asked Josh.
- Guys, you’re making her uncomfortable. Beside we didn’t do anything apart from talking, kissing and cuddling, he told them.
- You, guys, are definitely disgustingly cute, the third guy you still couldn’t see said.
- Hey, it’s not very nice, Josh laughed.
- I like being disgustingly cute, you said.
- Fair enough, Josh answered you.
It’s gonna be great, you thought as you jumped back on the sofa.
- One more thing, not a word to my dad, you said.
- Promised, the guys said as one.
