i am diagnosed with GAD, but i **SUSPECT** ADHD, NPD, and possible moral + disinhibition OCD (but I have yet to do more research on that).

i mostly just make my own posts or reblog relatable posts... thats it.

ADHD affects how I experience time, not how I experience attachment. I love you. I miss you. I just don't realize how long it’s been since I last said that, let alone messaged.

I understand that most normal functioning brains need regular engagement to maintain a bond. Absence doesn’t diminish my affection. My silence isn’t neglect or disinterest. It’s time blindness and object impermanence. The contact gap is purely neurological, not emotional. Thank you for being patient with my inconsistency and holding a seat in your heart for me.

every day I convince myself that I probably don't have npd symptoms and that I'm probably just overthinking... yet, I relate a lot to people with npd and they relate to me so... I mean who knows.

still sick of others shaming people with npd and demonizing them.

NPD culture is looking at a video representing an abusive situation and immediately rolling your eyes when some corny cunt being like “this is what it was like living w/ a npd mother..” my brother 🫩🫩🫩🫩 she is abusive because she is abusive, not because she has npd. Like if a really depressed mother neglected their kids you wouldn’t blame her for being depressed, you’d blame her for being neglectful my fucking goodness.

NPD culture is “You’re just a really logical thinker, not a narcissist” when you’re desperately trying to explain your lack of empathy (and in turn sympathy in my case)

NPD culture is being completely fed up with the way people are talking about Charlie Kirk and empathy. Like yeah I hate him too but can we focus on all the actual heinous shit he said and was complicit in, not his supposed hatred of empathy?? You can make fun of him without being lowkey ableist to people with low or no empathy, it’s really easy I do it all the time

SUSPECTED NPD / MIDNIGHT NPD

someone who either suspects, has traits of, or otherwise cannot be 100% sure they have NPD, but still find it important enough to mention as they relate to experiences and need to note how they interact with others.

examples may include people who :

aren't able to properly self-diagnose (ex. memory issues, focus issues, not enough resources) and choose to say they're suspected instead

are in the process of getting diagnosed or on a waiting list

are an alter who has npd traits while the rest of the system doesn't have these traits

are unsure whether their symptoms are pervasive/affect their day-to-day enough to be a personality disorder

tl;dr : a person with suspected npd, npd traits, etc.
