6.) Favorite Ships - I really like ancient japanese ships simply because of how cool the designs are. They are just menacing and tall and really beautiful. The standard pirate ship is also pretty cool, mainly because I love pirates.

8.) Favorite Soft Drink - I love matcha, especially with strawberries ^^

9.) Favorite Sea Creature - Does the Crab-Eating Frog count as it is the only amphibian to be able to tolerate salt water? If not, I really love sea bunnies! :3

1.) Favorite Flower - This is always hard to choose. I love roses, lily of the valley, and plumeria a lot though. Also magnolias!

Let's go foundational ships and current favs. Foundational: Hiccstrid, Ransom/Prissie from a series no one's ever heard of, Katherine/Nightlight from another series no one's ever heard of except for Auralia although everyone knows the movie on here, Zutara, Chase/Rory from yet another series most people have never heard of (several mutuals have read it though) and Conbeke from one more series no one's ever heard of. Current favs include JinRuth, Athemellia (is that the ship name?), Kaylin/Severn from Elantra, TwiYor and Damianya, and Polivia.

1.) Favorite Flower - Yellow roses are an old favorite of mine, but I also like yellow zinnias and yellow freesias. I like yellow flowers a lot because they held meaning in one of my favorite stories I wrote years ago. I also like hyacinths... because, y'know, my oc Hyacinth

2.) Favorite Season - I say autumn but truly any time of year when it is cold and rainy is my favorite-- autumn, winter, spring, even rainy summers!

3.) Favorite Soup - I recently made a garlic potato soup that was tasty!

4.) Favorite Anime (If you watch anime) - FMAB for sure!

5.) Favorite Sport - Due to my tendency to fall on my face, I am not very good at sports. But I enjoy running for fun!

6.) Favorite Ships - I searched my bookshelves to find any romantic ships beside Elizabeth and Darcy from Pride and Prejudice that I'm particularly passionate about, but alas, my search came up empty! My current favorites are Athemellia (Starlight, I don't know what their ship name is either) and JinRuth.

Oh wait, can I say romantic ships in my own books?? Because Raphael and Hyacinth have a great story I could talk forever about (because I'm writing it!). And T & M (not releasing their names to the public yet haha) from my vampire hunting novel have a great romance as well!!

3. Favorite Soup: ...does chili count? If not chili then you can never go wrong with a good vegetable beef soup. Although, to be fair, the only soup I dislike (and even then I still eat it) is chicken noodle because it reminds me of being sick heh

I love creepy horrifying murderous Will so much and I also love the idea of Montresor finding out and being scared out of his mind. Flip the script on that cowboy and terrify him half to death

RIGHT?? I especially love that Will’s specific kind of body horror makes him involves a kind of resurrection, and how that plays into Monty’s religious trauma in a kind of Jesus parallel?? I might be overworking the metaphor here but I feel like there’s also potential in “he died for your sins” — Monty would probably never be able to love Will in a way that is healthy, but Will doesn’t care because his devotion is unconditional. He’ll take all of Monty’s worst parts and love him even more. He’ll always be there, no matter how many times Monty betrays him, ignores him, etc.

ANYWAYS in lieu of the ten page essay I could write on them, have this art lmao 💗💗 I love the idea of Will as a bloodhound, just so perceptive to every change in Montresor, and when he bleeds…you can bet he’ll want to lick his wounds clean 👀

Ninjago scene reanimated! I had this one in my WIPs folder for a while, but decided to go back and complete it! This was honestly a challenge, but hey that's what makes the learning process fun! xD Enjoy!

He's obviously worried for Ada and it hurts me so much Prospero's behavior scared him off. Whenever Montresor shows genuine concern, he is dealing with taunts, skepticism, or simply disbelief as was the case when he tried to reveal what happened to Will.

And I can understand why. Montresor did not give Prospero a single reason to believe in his sincerity. No matter how much potential he has for the redemption arc, he has already provided other characters with an unshakeable opinion of himself.

It's hard to become a better person when no one believes there's anything good in you. Especially since Monty has become a bad person because everyone thought he was so he is desperately dependent on the opinions of others and why should he change now that no one expect anything from him.

"you cannot even muster the appearance of concern" what exactly do you want? He's sitting next to her with a frown on his face even though he could be sitting anywhere else. This is his limit and it's already more than one would expect. Does Prospero expect him to tell in plain text that he cares about Ada? After Prospero said that the truth from Monty's mouth is worthless?

Prospero must understand that a broken leg is an excuse and Montresor does not have the determination to express his concern more clearly. But he still provokes him. It's so mean because in the end it means Prospero doesn't want Montresor to become the better version of himself. He doesn't need it. Nobody needs it. It's much more useful to have Montresor on hand as the bad guy. Here Prospero taunts Montresor for no specific reason and this reflects the behavior of Monty himself who had previously been looking for a fight with every breathing being around. This is a convenient point of view: Montresor was the first to start so we can also behave like this and still consider ourselves better than him. I feel SO bad for Monty because that's literally what he was talking about in his church hallucinations.

Yes I understand perfectly well Montresor brought this on himself. I understand. I still feel bad for him. It's incredibly interesting but sad to look at a character who has the potential for redemption arc but no support system (let's be honest Will is not the one).
