Incredible portraits of the main characters of my novel done by the amazing @mandhos ! ✨

I'm so happy to see them drawn by someone else, it makes them feel more reel somehow ! I've admired mandhos' art for so long, I feel blessed I finally got to commission them 🫶.

The characters are Misty, Alstroemere and Adonis in that order. (I write in french so it's probably not very usedul to talk about it here but I just wanted to share the gorgeous art with you!)

I'm participating in Art Fight for the first time this year! I didn't have time to draw anything other than portraits of my characters; I hope that will be enough. The first three are characters from my book.

I'm back after months of absence, with a new obsession ✨The Wheel of Time ✨

It's only lineart and flat colors because I wouldn't have the time to finish before next month if I decided to start the shading.

The clothes are neither book or era accurate, I know. I go with vibes more than accuracy.

I put much efforts into making Mat the more normal looking of the bunch. I imagine his hat with multicolor feather, but as I had to fit him in the color wheel, they are just light blue here.

The Forsaken deserve a modern design, with piercings, makeup, and tattoos. Unfortunately, because of that, Demandred ended up looking way better than all the others which wasn't planned. But since he looks good as he is, I don't want to change it.

It was weird drawing them looking so young because they look older in my head, but I had to remind myself that they are in their twenties in the books.

Taim looks very much like Demandred, I know, it's on purpose. In my head, he had short hair, but I couldn't find a haircut that suited him, so now he has long hair.

Isn't Elayne adorable? I'm really happy with the way she looks, both pretty and cute.

Gawyn suffer from being the first pair I drew, he looks too normal when he should be one of the prettiest.

I chose pink for Lanfear because it's the lightest color of the lot, so it matches her white better.

I couldn't come up with a design I liked for golden hawks in flight of the diadem of the first, so I just decided it would be golden feathers instead.

I know these armors are totally inaccurate, but I had to find a way to include yellow, otherwise it wouldn't have fit in the color wheel.

I'm angry and disappointed in myself because Galad isn't the most handsome man in this color wheel. I should have done better for my favorite character… He suffered from being the second pair I drew; I hadn't expected to put so much effort into it. If I had finished with him, I could have made sure he was the most beautiful. I promise, I'll do better next time.

And Dain doesn't look unhappy enough, another mistake on my part.

I haven't watched the show so it's book Siuan after her stilling. Of course, her lace matches with Moiraine's.

In my mind, balefire is blue. I was certain it had been described as blue at some point, but since I can't remember where, I think I made it up.

I was very uninspired for Aviendha despite how much I like her, I will have to come up with a new design someday.

Isn't Nynaeve angry pouty face adorable? I love drawing her braid.

Morgase is another design I'll have to rework; she doesn't look like what I had in mind, and since she was the last character I drew, I was running out of energy and didn't enough effort into her clothes.

Rand looks more brownish than red here, it's a mistake, on my drawing tablet it was more vibrant. Did you notice that Logain and Taim clothes copied the dragon on his clothes?

I'm glad I managed to fit 16 characters into this wheel, and 16 characters I love at that ! I think only Egwene is missing among my top ten.

Yes Thranduil looks suspiciously like Elured because i always find a way to include propaganda for my headcanon.

Next will be Lothlorien royalty with Amrad, Amroth and Nimrodel.

Help me choose my next chara-designs serie

I finished the House of FInwë, I'm currently posting the Teleri Royalty :

Elwë, Elmo, Olwë, Oropher and Amdìr's lines + Cirdan & Nimrodel (she counts because she probably wedded Amroth in Aman by now and i included Amarië and Andreth in the House of Finwë anyway)

Now i have to choose the next group/family to draw. Apart from Ingwiön i already drew all the Vanya Royalty we know of (maybe i'll draw him to at some point).

When I do art requests. I always announce it in a post. I'm currently finishing a bunch of requests I received months ago (shame on me for taking so long, but I'll post them next week). I usually only accept canon characters though.

For OCs, it has to be a commission, as drawing is my job and I need to make ends meet somehow. (I need to remake my commission sheets soon, too.)

I included Túrin as Thingol kind of adopted him. Also, when i'll post Amroth and Thranduil, you'll notice a huge ressemblance with Eluréd and Elurín, that's propaganda for my headcanon.
