It really is strange how so much of the fandom justification on Jane being Like That in post canon hinges entirely on Jane not having an inner world.

Like at no point did Jane, while realizing that her friends were correct about Condy, while joining them to fight the Condesce, even while getting mind controlled and losing her autonomy to hurt her friends, never once had any serious thoughts about it and where she stood on that issue. Really convenient!
