Okay, so , its been a while and Ive been thinking...
The book Im writing is something Im going to be presenting to my family, and the world under my name, and for my own personal safety I dont feel safe having my real name connected to this blog.
So, I have come up with a compromise! On this blog, I will be sharing about the inspiration for my book characters, their sexual orientation, etc.
I will also be making another blog under my author handle. Some of you may find it, and some of you may not. On this blog Ill being using the characters' names, discussing my writing process, and other such things.
And as much as I would love to trust you guys with my author handle blog, I can not risk a family member or friend searching my author name and finding this blog. This blog is my safe space away from my mostly homophobic family, and due to my situation I need to maintain a good relationship with them, at least until Im out of college and have my own place.
I know this might be a bit of a downer to some of you, but I need to do what is best for me and my safety. Thank you for understanding
Last year, during pride, I came out as Cupiosexual to you all, and I would like to take the time to explain exactly what that means, as well as officially declare that I am both Cupiosexual and Cupioromantic.
Cupio is a sexual or romantic inclination that falls under the Aro and Ace umbrellas. As such, there is Cupioromantic and Cupiosexual (of which I am both).
These terms are not interchangeable, and it's important to know the difference so you can talk about or address the sexual or romantic inclination properly. Especially since not every cupio feels or is both.
Explination(s):
Let's start with what seems to be the most common of the two: Cupiosexual.
Being cupiosexual means you don't necessarily feel sexual attraction, but you still desire or like the idea of a sexual relationship. This doesn't mean we can't feel sexual attraction ever in our whole lives, but it's not very likely.
Onto the second Cupio inclination: Cupioromantic.
Cupioromantic means you desire or like the idea of a romantic relationship, but you don't feel romantic attraction towards anyone. Again, this doesn't mean we are unable to feel that attraction ever. It's just unlikely.
Important Distinction
I mentioned briefly at the top of this post that I am both Cupioromantic and Cupiosexual. However, this does not mean that every Cupiosexual is Cupioromantic or that every Cupioromantic is Cupiosexual.
Just like how an individual can be romantically lesbian but sexually demi or fray sexual, an individual who is Cupio can be a mixture of things.
For example: Someone who is Cupioromantic can be bisexual, and someone who is Cupiosexual can be panromantic. The same can be said in vice versa for either of these.
The list of Cupio + other inclinations goes on and on and on, and while I would love to discuss each of them, that's not what this post is about. Thus we shall move on.
Cupiorose
Now that we've learned about and made the distinction between Cupiosexual and Cupioromantic, let's discuss the combination of them.
Cupiorose or cupio aro/ace is when an individual (like myself) desires or likes the idea of romantic and sexual relationships but feels the attraction for neither. And you're probably saying, "Ash, we just learned about this. Why are you talking about this separately?"
Simply put, each cupio inclination, including Cupiorose, has its own flag. I want to make sure you're aware of this because we'll be talking about each flag in the next section, and I dont want you to be caught off guard.
There are many variations for the Cupiosexual, Cupioromantic, and Cupiorose flags, but there are three maine ones (which I currently have as my pfp and banner, respectively). The flags have similar color schemes since they are for the Cupio inclinations. However, they are all different and like being Cupiosexual or Cupioromantic, not interchangeable.
Flags:
Disclaimer!
The flags below are simply the ones I have chosen for this post. This is not meant to de-legitimize any other flags used or designed for the cupio orientations.
Cupiosexual:
The cupiosexual flag has four colors (in order from top to bottom of the flag): Grey, purple, white, and pink.
(Very pretty)
Cupioromantic:
The cupioromantic flag has five colors (in order from the top of the flag to the bottom): Peach, light peach, white, purple, and grey
(I personally adore this color pallete)
Cupiorose:
The cupiorose flag has four colors (in order from the top of the flag to the bottom: Grey, purple, white, and (what Im going to call) periwinkle.
Final notes:
As you can see, the cupio inclinations are a wonderful and beautiful part of the LGBTQIA+ family, and I thank you for taking the time to learn about it.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments or reblogs! I'll be more than happy to answer them :3

I always liked this arc because they were out of town when the house was robbed (I think at a wedding?) but Calvin forgot Hobbes. So when they get home and realize they’ve been robbed, Calvin is super scared Hobbes might’ve been stolen. For some reason the last panel when the parents are happy that Calvin has his buddy again just always moved me.
Your party tells you to fess up cause you have strange abilities other necromancers don’t have. You tell them it’s cause you treat the dead like Family instead of servants. Turns out necromancy grants more powers if you truly honor the dead
I think it's actually essential to children's moral development to be exposed to short stories moderately beyond their reading level where a bunch of fucked up shit happens and then instead of offering a moral lesson or any sort of emotional or narrative resolution it just ends.
(Ideally these stories should be presented in the form of poorly curated anthologies with the most generic titles imaginable, thereby rendering their contents impossible to identify or find later in life and leaving the affected individual wondering whether they dreamed the whole thing.)
My headcanon is that the embers went out near the start of his third year. He's really upset about it, but since he's him, he doesn't stop training with his classmates for the licensing exam. I have this idea in my head of Izuku getting asked to talk to a representative from the Hero Commission (note: NOT HAWKS) in the lead up to the exam. The representative talks to him about how it may not be the best idea for him to take the licensing exam quirkless. They reinforce that the Commission can't stop him from taking it on the basis of his quirk status, but they can bar students from taking the exam if they pose a clear and present danger to themselves or others. Izuku is having none of this because he worked his ass off for four years to be where he is now, and he's not gonna just let it all be for nothing. The representative goes on to say that because of Izuku's acts of heroism in the past, he has the option to get an honorary license so he can still teach heroics. He'd be exempt from the practical, but he'd still have to pass the written exam. Izuku says fuck that and takes the practical anyway and passes.
Idk I just. I need more content from the eight years before he got the suit. I wanna know how his quirklessness affected his time at UA. I wanna see him puch someone in the face.
i love thinking about bakugo getting hit with a time travel quirk and his symbolic nightmares become a very tangible and chaotic new reality. sth sth learning how to move on as a better person without letting your past and shame control you, even if it's gonna follow you for the rest of your life in one way or another.
i don't think bakugo should atone repeatedly for his childhood sins, but i also don't really agree with the sentiment that their childhood wouldn't affect their adulthood. i think a lot of their little habits (the good and the bad) were formed during their childhood and as a result of their friendship and falling out, i think sometimes that catches them off-guard in their adulthood and leads to unexpected situations that require them to manage their emotions well so it doesn't end in unjust accusations and yeah.
