Hi guys I’m back! I have some news for you: I met Rick riordan!!!!

I run out of people to tell this story so i obviously need to post it on tumblr duh

He was so cute and he greeted me saying “CIAO ANNABETH” which instantly made me cry like a baby

He was so sweet and listened to me while I whined about how he saved my life and shaped me into who I am today and at some point he literally made this face 🥺 telling me he was so happy to hear it and that it what a pleasure to meet me!

He also spoke a perfect Italian (that made everything easier because I could barely speak in my native language I was totally freaking out)

He literally called me Annabeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m sorry I’ll never shut up about this I literally used to dream about this exact scenario as a child and she literally shaped my personality at 11 years old. Every time I think about it I freak out because I can’t believe it happened to me.

I’m so thankful for this opportunity and because my friends and my beautiful perfect girlfriend came with me and made sure I could meet him

I know it's been a while since I posted, but I really want to tell you guys about yesterday.

I MET RICK RIORDAN

he came to Italy during a comic con, and when we knew he was coming, we were determined to go meet him.

we woke up early, took the first train and went to the con. the line was already so long😭😭 and we didn't know for certain if we could get the tickets to see him. we finally knew after almost seven hours, and at that i cried for the first time that day.

when we went to cue to meet him we met a lot of amazing people who even gave us blue cookies 😭😭 I was so happy to eat them since I didn't really have time to eat something all day.

when we got into the room with him me and my friends all started crying together, and I was SO HAPPY when the first thing he said when he saw my girlfriend was "Hello annabeth!" (she was cosplaying her, and she loves annabeth)

anyway, while he signed the books we could speak a bit, and I got to tell him I met my girlfriend because of him, and he was so so sweet.

also his italian is PERFECT. the whole conversation was in italian and he is so good i swear he speaks better than me.

I am so happy and so so grateful I got to meet the author that played such an important part in my teen years. it was truly a magical experience
