trying to get my tumblr shit in order, so here goes:

i'm esotericarms, a freaky deaky little she/they dude brought out of fanfic retirement by caitvi. i wrote over 125k words about these freaks this year and it's been awesome, i've met lots of cool weirdos and it's been an absolute dream to figure out how to worm my way back into fandom and share intrusive thoughts about hot lesbians.

i have only read 4 books this year, or i have managed to actually read 4 books this year, depending on how you want to frame it. all pretty good and none of them completely captivating.

lucky red, by claudia cravens - like a pretty good lesbian retelling of a western, lots of fascinating tropes and a well-paced story. the narrator just wasn't bringing the juice.

the safekeep, yael van der wouden - unsettling bottled up lesbian gothic-type novel set in the dutch countryside in the 1960s, this one did linger with me with the impact of the emotionality but the ending felt rushed.

stray city, chelsea johnson - a love note to an american queer scene that doesn't exist anymore because everything is so expensive. an unusual representation of what can make up a family, a charming little book that again left me craving something slightly more.
