The clam before the storm
What an aesthetically pleasing meme.
I think this is it. My aesthetic. The sea, a beautiful sky, and a pun.

whenever I feel bad about having a weird name I remind myself that C.S. Lewis’ middle name was Staples
When I was a kid, one of my family members quoted the first line of Dawn Treader—“There was a boy named Eustace Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it"—and I said, “Brave words from a man whose name was Clive Staples Lewis,” and my mom lost it.
THIS POST CHANGED MY LIFE.
Guns, so primitive.
hearing ea might add microtransactions to Dragon Age 4
#i wish i could erase this show from my memory to watch it again for the first time
One of my favorite tropes is post apocalyptic towns being named after dilapidated signs with missing letters, like Novac (no vacancy) and Eaden (dead end). There’s something inexplicable about it
catch me in the city of fre shavaca do
my generation of people who were children throughout the harry potter series as it was being published grew up into roughly 4 categories:
category A: 20+ year old who now hates the series
category B: 20+ year old who lost interest and now realizes the series isnt as great as they thought, but still has a lot of nostalgia for it
category C: 20+ year old with a lot of nostalgia and still loves it and produces content, but is fairly chill
category D: 20+ year old whos fucking ride or die for it, probably an asshole, makes very bad 2012-esque posts constantly and thinks hogwarts houses are serious business, no life outside of harry potter, snape apologist
i love the fact that like… if you wanted to you could throw a chair… stool…. lamp… medium sized houseplant… even a lightweight table…. theres nothing physically stopping you from throwing furniture around, only social constructs and your own cowardice.
ever since I saw this post I cannot look at my life the same way
We must thank our internal organs for the fact that they are not itching
One fear
Mad Max Fury Road is the best because it screams in your face “HEY LOOK HERE’S A V8 INTERCEPTOR AND A MASSIVE FUCKING TRUCK COVERED IN SKULLS AND A GUITAR FLAMETHROWER AND BIG ACTION SEQUENCES AND EXPLOSIONS, ISN’T THAT COOL??????” and then it gently takes your shoulder and whispers in your ear “but you know what’s cooler? respecting women & dismantling the patriarchy”
i made a graph of my personality
Some of your favorite movie SFX and how they were inspired
peter parker in the 2002 movie is fuckin…. incredible. he gets bitten by a fuckin jacked red blue spider and he doesnt say “hey someone should take me to the hospital mayhaps?” he just goes home. then the bite swells to the size of a fuckin jawbreaker but he’s like “nah i just need a nap.” then he wakes up the next day and discovers that he DOESN’T NEED HIS GLASSES ANYMORE and he has a fuckin six pack. does he flip his entire Fuck? no. he says, “cool.” iconic.
2002 peter parker had no health insurance
