One of New Dallan's Laik Nymphs prepares a mass driver attack. Nymphs typically operate at close ranges where their nano impulse swarms can tear vessels open, but their small size and limited fuel capacity restricts them to use in skirmishes or against comoving targets. Mass drivers are ideal candidates for longer range simulacrum weapons due to the lack of moving parts, but for them to be effective it will require the Nymph to commit a significant portion of its operational mass to the kinetic payload.
