Had the opportunity to check out a different rock climbing gym yesterday, reconnected with some old friends, and learned to climb top rope! Was a ton of fun, despite overworking myself (as usual). One thing I didn't expect? The route setters really make a difference, and you get used to your home gym's holds, whether you realize it or not. I'm beginning to understand why the pro scene rotates gyms and setters so much; keeps the climbers on their toes (and fingertips)

It’s pretty much all just a compilation of phrases amounting to “they’re coming this way soon follow me we will do this for Stalin and for motherland fuck off bitches let’s go” in random sequence and very aggressively followed by the Soviet anthem. Practically untranslatable but Russians and Russian speakers understand entirely what is going on 😂

I'm almost certain that they're using a Call of Duty 4 Spetsnaz soundboard; I know the version of the anthem they used is ripped straight from the game. Fucking beautiful.
