Guys if I did a Facebook group for healthy eating/nutrition/weight loss would anyone be interested? My thoughts is it'd be a support group where we can share tips, info, and post our food etc to be held accountable for what we eat, which always helps me. So I haven’t posted here for ages, but i have definitely been continuing on my fitness journey. My life has changed quite a bit, but for the better, and I’m in a great place with my fitness and training now. Still not where I want to be, but working towards it so much more efficiently now. Hoping to get this blog active again to give and receive motivation and knowledge!
Look at me deadlifting 50kg here back in April. I hit the 100kg club in June. Work hard. 💪🏼

Start of a new month. Did a shoulders and chest session in the gym, skipped cardio because I've done so much running in the last few days! Anyway, decided to get a reading of my BMI, weight, and body fat percentage. SUPER INTERESTING. I'm technically 'overweight' by a couple of lbs and my BMI is a tiny bit high. But my body fat percentage is 25% which is actually bordering on below average, 25% - 30% being 'average and 19% - 24% being in the 'fitness' category. It really struck a chord for me because I've always thought that being heavier than average was detrimental to my health but really it means that I've just been gaining muscle and losing fat - and it really reiterates how unimportant your weight actually is when you're trying to get fit. Anyway, I'm going to strive to lower that body fat percentage rather than my weight. The goal is to get it below 18% because that's when you can see abs, but for this month I'm going to be satisfied with any loss because I don't know how hard it is to do. It would be difficult to put a timescale in place and I don't want to set unachievable goals. Definitely given me something to think about and work for this month!

These are maybe 2 years apart? But it feels so good to actually see some progress, I hope now I've got a really decent gym schedule this progress will speed up! Look at the gains tho.
