Working on my weaknesses. I've never rocked climbed before and it's become obvious to me through the ninja competitions I've done that my finger and grip strength are lacking majorly. So this will be my new goal to achieve. I will make it a priority to be better at climbing and I'm excited to see my progress in months to come. #NoFearHere #barstarzz

Climbing is something I've never had the chance to do and I've noticed how important it is to achieve the goals im after. Finger and grip strength have been my weaknesses in ninja competitions and it's time to change that. I will be finding ways to make climbing a normal part of my training and I'm so excited about that. I love learning new things and seeing progress in weaker areas of my self. My daughter @crush_de_lilah crushed it at the @nationalninjaleague finals yesterday at @gcaofct She finished stage one with 3 seconds to spare.. I'm so proud of my little one for stepping up and performing so well when all eyes were on her. She was so nervous before she went but she was able to stay in the moment and focus through this speed course. They only had one minute to complete the course so she had to be fast but also precise to not fall on any of the obstacles. I am a proud dad today 🙌🏼😊 Thank you to Luis moco @gcaninjas for putting such an awesome and tough course up for these kids and for all the hard work you do. One of the biggest things I've learn from being a coach and personal trainer is how damaging negative self talk is. If right before trying something you tell your self that you won't make it or that something is too hard to do or you won't do good at it you automatically cut your chances of completing your objectives in half. Be realistic but don't put your self down. #Foodforthought. Because when you can vividly visualize where you going and the path to get there then it's just a matter of time and effort to make it happen. See it, believe it, get it done! What kid the fire in me since the beginning of my calisthenics career was the fact that I knew exactly what I I wanted out of it and I knew what my path would be. Extreme calisthenics was a life changer for me. But I me w that if I got strong enough to muscle up and do some of the more advanced moves I would be able to make it my own... something that back then 2012 I had never seen. So I did just that. I got my reps up and my strength up through the basics and once I felt I had a strong foundation I began to push the bar in the athleticism part of the sport. I wanted to try new crazier more dare devil type of moves then what I've been seeing from the rest of the athletes at the time.. so I did. I feel good with where it got me and how much I've grown because of this sport but... I am not done! Have a great Sunday peeps. #barstarzz #ctbars #NoFearHere

It is the hardest thing for me to fight my instincts to go hard and fly high. Trapeze is a new discipline where I have to start from zero and learn all the basic techniques and build a strong base.
