They were the rare Inkling who never showed much interest in turf wars or any of that stuff. This made them a loner as they focused on their passions of tinkering and flying. They almost never transform into squid form, so it feels weird to them, it’s a muscle they have rarely flexed. But now they’re going to be forced to fight and transform to survive this island.

The TADC fandom is apparently completely incapable of containing spoilers

The full release still isn’t for another 9 days, and as someone who was planning on not watching it until then, let me tell you it’s been a total minefield out there

I get it on my homepage. I get it in DMs. I saw a deliberate spoiler in Splatoon of all places. Then I saw that same spoiler in unmarked fanart a few days later, so guess I can’t even blame that person really. I don’t go in the tadc tags. It just shows up. I guess, to be constructive about it, please remember that your followers also need spoiler tags for things that you reblog, not just original posts. The tags don’t carry over.

But even when people try to hide spoilers, they fail. If you post “high quality image of the irl gang” with a read more under it

Well now I know that such an image exists and they probably escaped the circus, which was not at all a given. If I see bits of Jax trans discourse that’s trying and failing to be vague, I know the question wasn’t concretely answered in the finale.

People were worried about spoilers when they heard that the finale would be releasing in theaters, and the argument was that the community would just be really careful until the full release. That’s pretty much moot already. Look at how sloppy people are being with still more than a week to go.

Part of it is just on the way Tumblr works. It also probably isn’t unique to the TADC fandom. I know I should’ve probably just blocked the TADC tags altogether to keep myself safer. I’m just frustrated about it all.

Master of coin seems like the obvious choice, but really Scrooge is great at everything. He’s kind of a Tywin type with less psychopathy. He’d make a great hand of the king, and honestly I’d be concerned if he was master of coin. He’d probably penny pinch too much or find ways to enrich himself over the realm.
