Agreed. Native Americans were not even granted U.S. citizenship until 1924. Less than 100 years ago. Let that sink in. They were here first, and were better caretakers of the land, water, and animals. They were given the worst lands for reservations, and now even that is being threatened. It is infuriating and heart breaking. The worst thing is for good people to stay silent. Please share?

Day 13 of Cold Processed Acorn Flour. Even though I’m growing impatient to move on with processing the acorn flour, I’m going to keep at it another few days until the water stays more clear. Bur Oak acorns contain more tannic acid than White Oak, Pin/Water Oak, Red Oak (red oak acorns took me about 9 days to cold-water process in 2014 and contain more oil), and Black Oak, with Live Oak containing the most tannins. I think it will be worth the wait! 🌳🌰🍞🐿

So it is very possible he just has messy handwriting (look at how he’s holding the pen) and is in fact taking notes.
