Omg hi, so happy pride, I made a drawing of Maddox and Ashlyn from HSMTMTS. I really love them and I thing they’re written in a really cute way and I’m still mad about Carlos interrupting they’re kiss, they deserved more, and I’m obsessed with CIWYW.

Anne Boleyn's hair color

Through the years something as simple as Anne Boleyn's hair color has been a topic of discussion; her hair has been described as brunette, black, or even auburn. But there's something weird about this because in her most famous projects her hair has a dark brown tone. So, with that we'll think that the mystery is solved, but the thing is that this portrait was made years after her death, and other portraits are based in that one, so the closest that we have to what she actually looked like it's a portrait made by Hans Holbein and an old coin that shows her bust, but here enters the problem.

For obvious reasons the coin doesn't have color, but the drawing does, and nowadays looks blond, we cannot say she's blond because we have to remember that this sketch it's really old, and it isn't even fully coloured, but we can suspect it originally was made with yellow, reddish brown, and some black tonalities.

We don't have a final answer, but some people say that this confusion was on purpose, but I guess we'll never now

Coke bottle effect

One of the least comprehended things about autism is masking, masking consists in an adaptative phenomenon that autistic people develop to live and adapt to an allistic (non-autistic) society, we can think about it as a way of camouflage, a way in which autistic people supress some of their natural behaviours. For allistic people or people that doesn’t understand it, this may sound like a great mechanism, because it allows autistic people to look “normal”, but it really is not. Masking it’s  harmful, and it can lead to another things that are really horrible stuff, and the worst thing, most of the time it isn’t really conscious, and unmasking it’s really difficult journey, but today I am not going to talk about that, actually, I am going to explain one of comorbidities of autism that it's extremely related to masking, the coke bottle effect.

For those who don’t now, let’s explain the coke bottle effect in a really simple way imagine an autistic person as a coke bottle, as they day goes on they’re going to get shaken, and if they don’t stim or make any of their normal mechanisms to regulate because of masking, so they don’t let our any of this pressure because they feel like they can’t, not at that moment, not at that place, so the second they feel safe enough to react everything explodes. The whole content of the coke bottle it’s released, instead of relaxing because they’re in a safe space they just release all of the tension and pressure that they have been accumulating all day long, while before for the people that were with them everything look normal, they didn’t look or act eny different, for everyone they’re fine, but in the interior everything just keeps adding pressure that is waiting to release.

So basically the coke bottle effect affects autistic people, and it happens more usually that you may think, because it is just a delayed impact of getting through the day, something that would be so simple for allistic people, something that would be a little easier if we just didn’t mask and used certain mechanisms or tools to regulate all the pressure that is accumulating inside so it doesn’t just explodes at one time. Here is where we need to understand that masking isn’t good at all, making causes problems, masking it’s just a way to hide everything more than a way to help, we really need to talk about this topics more often, so we get a better understanding of everything and we don’t just judge people or get surprised at certain reaction, but most important if you are allistic, you become a safe space to unmask.

Hi!, fun fact about me, I love Barbie, and there is a collection of “inspiring women”, which I also love, so I’m going to start a series where I post about every woman features in that collection, so let’s start with Jane Goodall.

Valerie Jane Morris Goodall was an activist, primatologist, and conservationist. She was burned at Hampstead, London and although she just died at the age of 91, she really left a mark in the study of Apes.

Whe she was a kid she received a chimpanzee plushie which she named Jubilee, since then she loved chimpanzees, and that motivated her to work to defend then.

So, I cannot mention Jane without mentioning Fifi, which was one of her initial subjects of study, but one day she disappeared, which made Jane really sad. But she was definitely not her only study, because by her notebook we can find a lot of notes of different chimpanzees. And how does she got to interact with them?, exactly, bananas. Talking of that we have David Greybeard which was the first chimpanzee who lost the fear to humans, eating 50 bananas in one seat.

She made a lot of important contributions to the world, including the redefinition of humans, because before her the a was defines as a toolmaker, it chimpanzees also make tools, and she discovered that, they also have cultural manifestations that go through generations, just like us. They use leaves and moss as utensils to eat and drink, and also women can be independent.

So she dedicated her life to study another species, but she also redefined ours, maybe we are more similar than we tough.

Hi!, so Taylor Swift is dropping a new album tomorrow called The Life Of A Showgirl, and I don’t want to clown again, I really don’t want to, but I also think is Karma. And from my point of view some of Karma songs (if it exists) are also Reputation vault tracks, why do I think that?, well is not like that but if karma is real, it would be an entirely discarded album, so it may be itself a vault. So I really don’t want to clown, but everything is so reputation, and karma, and also don’t forget the karma post from Taylor nation last year, and everything is orange and I just hope there is a little bit of karma there if it exist

You know what pisses me off, people insulting fletcher because she announced she likes a boy in pride month.

I think that’s marketing but now guys, quick lesson, let’s think about the iconic pride phrase “love is love”, every kind of love, and liking and dating someone of your opposite gender when you are queer doesn’t make you straight or less queer, you are still queer, you are still existing and deserving to be seen, and I just like my same gender but please respect queer people who also like the opposite one.

Hi omnisexuals!, so first of all I’m gonna say what is omnisexuality.

Omnisexuality is a sexuality in which people feel attracted to all genders but they actually have preferences, not like pansexual people, but now their flag.

This one was created at Devianart (another big place for pride flags) by pastelmemer, and this one has 5 stripes.

With light pink and light blue representing the gender spectrum, pink representing attraction to female identifying persons and feminity, blue representing attraction to male identifying persons, and dark purple for everyone that falls outside of gender binary.

Hi polysexual people on the internet, today is your turn, first of all there’s people who don’t really know what this is, so little pause from the flag topic, polysexual people have sexual or romantic attraction to multiple genders, but not really all and it’s not limited to girls and boys.

Now what we were all expecting, flags, this was created on Tumblr on 2012, it has three stripes.

A pink one that represents attraction for people that identify as female, a green one for people who doesn’t identify as male or female, and a blue one for people that identify as male.

All flags are pretty, but this one is pretty and simple, love it.

Hello my fellow bisexuals, okay so now it’s turn for the bisexual flag. So it has three stripes, it has a pink one that represents attraction to the same gender, a purple one that represents attraction to more than one gender and blue that represents attraction to the opposite gender.

This was designed in 1998 by Michael page which is an activist that made it because he felt that the rainbow flag didn’t represented bisexuals (which is true).

So remember that the b in lgbtqia+ is valid and seen, see you tomorrow with another flag

It’s pride Month again, yes that time of year when brands start adding rainbows in “support” aims I’m insufferable, so, there’s a pride calendar, and today it’s for lesbians (sorry for missing yesterday, post it later) the thing is in honor that almost all the modern pride flags where born on tumblr I’m going to talk about one each day.

So now we use the sunset lesbian flag, which was designed by Emily Gwen in 2018, originally with 7 stripes, but now we only use 5 because of the controversial meaning of the last two.

The ones that we use nowadays mean:

Independence

Community

Unique relationships with woman hood

Serenity and peace

Love and sex

I still find love and sec triggering because asexuals exist, but we’ll talk about that later.

Hi!, I don’t know if you relate but high expectations are the worst because you feel like you are not allowed to fail because if someone else fails it’s okay but if you do the same it’s the worst thing that ever happened. If you think that about someone please stop doing it, it feels bad.

Hi!, I want to talk about overstimulation on exams, you may wonder why but I just had an exam in which something was happening always. My classmates were screaming and talking and clicking pens and doing a lot of stuff and fighting and I just couldn’t take it, I couldn’t pay attention to the exam I was sobbing I wanted to get out of there I was frustrated and sad and angry and I don’t even know how to describe overstimulation but you know.

This is not the first time it happens to me, it always happens and it downgrades my grades a lot, I can know the topic and explain it and do excercises but if the exam is like that, I fail.

I just wanted to know if you can relate and give me tips, thanks for reading

Omg I just love Gilmore Girls, I am a fall person, and this is the fall series for excelence, I was excepticall about it but it's just cozy and cute and it feels like a hug and you are just wishing to have a mother like Lorelai but you also start like loving everything and it's just really great.
