It’s my birthday and I get to draw what I want
One day I’ll use procreate to its full purpose
I’m gonna go back and fix some of the spots and try to add dye too. There is a pocket on the front if anybody has ideas on what to put on it. (Maybe like a cicada or more of the pattern?)
Another hyper fixation deserves another bleach shirt
I drew Aiden for the dying light contest it was fun
New craft time trying to make a moth keychain :3
Made another bleach shirt for a Christmas gift ⭐️
Post on how I made my fnaf sweater
The materials I used
Paint brushes / something to pour bleach in
Bleach (I used low splash bleach)
Walmart sweatshirt (it’s about 10$ )
Prisma white pencil
(My reference photos for the shirt)
I started with drawing the stencil on the shirt using a white prisma pencil (crayola wouldn’t draw on the material) someone in the reboots said that you could use chalk but it might be harder to do details
Once I drew out the stencil I just painted the design with the bleach.
If you want it to be more of a paler grey color leave it on longer if you like the yellow leave it on for a shorter time. I let the bleach set in the sun when I was done for about an hour.
Rinse it off with the hose or sink before washing it to make sure all the bleach is off. If you wash it before rinsing it the bleach could stain other spots.
Things I learned by messing up
Don’t use brushes you love there is a chance the brushes won’t survive
It helps to draw out the shirt design before starting so you can visualize how it’ll look
Don’t leave the brushes in the bleach when not using them. They might fall apart
Bleach spreads so less bleach on your brush helps keep it from spreading the lines you want to keep
Do the bleach painting outside if you hate the smell of bleach I didn’t smell it to much while painting on the porch
Don’t bleach paint in closed areas the fumes are bad
You can go back and rebleach spots after the first wash if you are unsatisfied with the colors I went back and bleached about 3 times
It’s really fun once you get into it and I hope I can see some of your shirts if you make one.
🩵Thanks for everyone for the nice words🩵
Finally Finished the back of the shirt it isn’t perfect but I like it
Thanks everyone for the motivation to finish I’ll post about how I made it soon
Finish with the front and sleeves gonna work on the back on my days off this week
Thanks everybody for the nice words I’ll post the finish shirt when I get to it
