Also shoutout to @nyxxtar as I used his attack on Drosera of last year (which you can see here ) as a reference for this upgraded ref for him, since I really liked the extra details added,namely the leaf-brow thing, as well as that killer eyeshadow :]

This time it is a friendly fire attack to @Mabaki. I really wanted to draw him (It's quite a challenge, this guy has muscles I have never heard of XD) but never found a good excuse until now. Actually, and until I get attacks on my own, I plan to focus at first on artists I can't meet in Art meetings (that means people in EU servers) because this Artfight is the perfect excuse and has no boundaries.
Well, I disgress... I wondered which kind of training Mabaki does to have such a body, and I imagine there's a good gym in the Grove?
I loved trying to match his color scheme, btw. Definitely a really interesting character to draw!

jory and rebel are good friends. necromancer buddies. so her being the one to try and dissuade jory into following this heavily sus dude (lazarus) is so canon to me
she actually does follow the pair of them after dragon vigil, since she's not aurene's champion in our story (thatd be my friend druid's oc, locket!!). she leaves the main story for a bit to do so, but jory eventually shakes her and rebel goes back to the whispers hideout to see eve, my sylvari

I know I said last year might be the last time I post Trammander art for Erris’ birthday because I had run out of ideas. Well. I was wrong. Obviously.
So here we are, in the sixth year, with another batch of random Trammander moments:
Erris falls asleep in the middle of sword-sharpening, and Trahearne thinks she's dead because Orr is an awful place to find someone unconscious;
Trahearne successfully grows ① sapling in the dead land, and Erris is being very normal about it;
Trahearne receives Saladbolg but doesn't know how to use a greatsword, so Erris tries to teach him to wield it like a guardian, which ends very unfavorably;
and finally, Trahearne speaking his arguably most (in)famous line, Run, you filthy cowards! while Erris stands next to him like, Oh no, the useless mercenaries broke my Marshal.
There. Hopefully there will be more next year, and in the years after that. And then some.

Kyne Marrowtaster, Marrow Warband

Centurion Marrowtaster is an admirable soldier with many commendations. This grizzled veteran cut her teeth in the Fields of Ruin during the Ebonhawke sieges where she garnered a fearsome reputation amongst the humans posted there.
A talented combatant, Kyne and the units she leads are highly trained infantry soldiers, using brute force and solid shield formations to advance the lines and defend the ranks behind them. The trust and discipline needed to hold these lines are earned through Kyne’s unwavering loyalty to the troops and to the greater interests of the Blood Legion. She is always fair with the soldiers under her charge, knowing when to crack the whip and when to let things slide.
While aloof and taciturn to most, she is quite compassionate in general. She had to feed herself and her young warband early in her childhood and that has evolved into food being her particular love-language to those she cares about. This is what has earned her the name "taster" and how her bandmates agreed on being called the "Marrow" warband when they graduated.
Kyne's adventures in Tyria have mellowed her attitude a little over the last decade, though she remains a ferocious combatant with little patience for disloyalty or chaos. Ever dedicated to her legion, she is always quick to return home at any opportunity and abhors being pulled away for the usual world-shifting shenanigans.
She is burly, gruff and a bit of a brute, between her towering height and broad features, it is no mystery how she often gets mistaken for a male, but her ferocity, skill and heroism have nevertheless garnered her plenty of admirers. She has 5 adult children (one set of twins) by different sires and, while she cares for them, is happy to let them be raised in the Blood Fahrar and allow them to live their independant lives.

Thinking about how of all the elder dragons jormag looks the most like soo-won and ice is just cold water and soo-won's other domain besides water was life and jormag was motivated by desperation to preserve things and viewed any form of change as embracing fatalism based on the legendary facet weapon poem. Jormag was soo-won's baby, her ideals and weaknesses taken to the extreme. I love them so much i love you jormag
