1. Blish- absolutely killed me. One of the few that had me sobbing irl. Gorrik's reaction still gets me to tear up every time.

2. Sieran- chose the priory my first ever time doing personal story and I had no spoilers. My jaw was literally on the floor when claw island happened. I loved her sm.

3. Trahearne- would be #1 but I got spoiled on his death before I actually knew him as a character (I played HoT before the personal story). I still think of his absense the most.

Runner ups: Almorra Soulkeeper, Snaff (it was in the book but it counts, right?), and Aurene (yeah ik she came back but still)

The gw2 wikis image for Kuda is heinously oversaturated and lightened, so I went and color-matched to Kuda directly in a story instance. These are accurate colors for Kuda, as displayed on her in-game model!

She's also about 2 tics below max height!

I really really love in game music events but the guild wars 2 metal legion concert just blows the competition out of the water for me. the fact that it's integrated into the storyline for the area with the songs being in universe propaganda is fascinating and the event itself is like hands down the best and most fun way to do an event like that I've ever experienced. you spend the whole time trying to keep the show going which means constant chaotic mini events where you do things like jump in a moshpit or stand in for backup dancers or fix the exploding equipment while all the while beating back fans swarming the performers whose parts of the song will disappear if they get knocked out. it ends with you having to destroy a giant burning metal effigy of a dragon that will sometimes just pick you up into the air and chuck you into the crowd who are all giant cat people. everyone on earth download the video game guild wars 2.

THE ONLY WAY STORY THOUGHTS AND RAMBLES BECAUSE I JUST FINISHED IT AND NEED TO RANT

First of all, the new map is absolutely gorgeous. Took me a while to get the lay of the land, but once I did its been amazing to explore. The events are plentiful and I am going to LOVE to search for any fun ambient dialogue.

New meta event isn't bad, but not my favorite. I find it interesting that its more of a lot of different events than just one single boss to fight. It was especially fun because it was the first time anyone has done it, so we all got to learn about it together.

MORE CUTSCENES!! Don't quite hit as hard as the previous ones, but amazing and super fun nonetheless.

HE SAID IT! HE SAID THE THING:

THEY LET THE COMMANDER SAY "DAMN"!!! REJOICE!!

The loading screens for this chapter are absolutely amazing and so full of personality. Absolutely love them!

I absolutely adore how one of the seer trials is just. a pile of gold. and when you hover over it it just says 'Take 100,000 gold'. It is the most obvious and hilarious trap ever. Did that stop me from trying to take the gold? No. No it did not.

OK YEAH SO VLOXX ASCENDED. JUST LIKE THAT. WE LITERALLY WATCH HIM DO IT. OHHHH MY GOD. I CANNOT believe they showed that in the trailer because yeah that was literally him ascending, not even a fake out or anything it just happened.

Kuda is WAYYYY more of a threat than I originally anticipated. I won't lie, I originally thought she was just gonna be another little roadblock like Sebb was but NOPE. Her little trick and immediate ambush was completely unexpected. I thought our mutual enemy of Vloxx might permit at least a little bit of an alliance, but I GUESS NOT

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!?! For ISGARREN??!? Ah man I did NOT see his change of heart coming. I won't lie, I hated his guts, but now he seems almost... likable? It felt like a punch to the face when he actually thanked the commander-and Canach and Rytlock, too! I did not expect him to humble up, but this is a VERY welcome surprise. I am so excited to see if he can keep it up.

Also, Canach's final dialogue?!? He feels as though he is missing something, a purpose. While I love his 'haha funny gambling man' personality, I do love how even he seems to miss his past as a fellow hero.

Ahhhh man I am so scared and excited for the next update ghhhh

Both Vloxx and Kuda are extremely intimidating foes, and I am sososo excited to find out how their conflict gets resolved. Ngl especially so for Vloxx. This man has proven his word and his dedication to his cause, but whether or not his actions will truly do the good that he wants them to? That is the question.

Basically, 10/10 update, very fun and took the story in a direction I am sosososo excited to explore. Just wish there was more because I am a greedy greedy being who desires lore and funny characters to survive. Thank you.
