Update: Didn’t move to Austin TX. However, I did do a month-long backpacking trip that summer in Colorado. I spent 2 months essentially homeless, then ended my sleeping outdoors + couch surfing by moving to Charlotte NC. I’ve fallen in love with this state and the mountains here. 

To sum up... expect fewer nerd posts and more outdoor posts.

Big news! In two to four and a half months I'll be moving! A huge move! I'm leaving the Midwest for Austin TX! I'm so excited for this new direction my life is taking. I've got so much to do before then but this is probably the biggest change I've ever had in my life but I'm ready for the challenge!
