This messed me up.
We really do just be on a rock without a fucking clue huh
anyways guys congratulations on being aromantic. it's pride month everyone congratulate aromantic people <3
Somehow being a person does not come naturally to me
Not propaganda, just talking about fandom misogyny in general. It really irks me when people on this site respond to people calling out fandom misogyny with shit like, "Well the reason male characters in fandoms get more attention is because most fans are women who are attracted to men in some capacity, so of course they would be more drawn to the male characters." As a straight woman who loves female characters and often prefers them over the male characters, I guess I just don't understand this logic?
I know not everybody has the same likes and preferences as me and that's totally fine, but I find it strange that on this site there's a mentality of your sexuality dictating which characters will be your favorite or the most interesting to you. For example, I've looked up a couple of female character centered childhood media I've enjoyed on this site, and found posts about how if you liked this media as a kid you're a lesbian now. I guess I'm the weird exception then lol.
i really don't think you're a weird exception. it's a bullshit, heteronormative and honestly pretty sexist argument. but more than that, it's yet another way people avoid actually engaging with the reality of bigotry in fandom. the argument equates fandom preferences with sexuality because sexuality is, for the most part, a passive trait. it's not really something you choose, it's something you are. and when people frame their fandom preferences as a passive trait, one that couldn't possibly have anything to do with any other preconceived notions or biases they may have (and might even consider re-examining!), then they have an out from any responsibility and they don't have to do any self-reflection about it. it's basically the same evasive bullshit as claiming that all fiction ever is irreparably misogynistic and all female characters are uniformly badly written so, therefore, it's entirely unreasonable to expect fans to not be misogynistic about fiction themselves. it frames fandom's misogyny as passive, the fault of everyone but the fans themselves, and it's so fucking annoying.
If anything happens to my father, I will not forgive anyone. My father's pain has intensified, and he is currently in Al-Shifa Hospital, staying overnight while awaiting his turn for surgery. It may take a long time, and my father's health condition does not allow him to wait much longer. His suffering worsens every second, and the cost of his hospital stay until the surgery is beyond our means.
My father has been battling cancer for a year, and his health is deteriorating daily. He hasn't received proper and regular treatment due to the war, the closure of the crossings, and the denial of medication. My father cannot endure much longer and must be evacuated immediately from Gaza. This is very expensive and will take a long time, and we might lose him before then.
The only solution available now in Gaza is to receive treatment and undergo surgeries approximately every three months. I don't want to see my father die before my eyes. Please help us and donate to save my father. Please donate now. We cannot afford all these costs of medicine and surgeries. Please donate to save him.
My father, Nader, is suffering greatly at this time. Anything you can offer will be a lifesaver. Please don't hesitate to support Nader and his family and donate to them.
Hey everyone, I'm begging you to share this post as widely as possible and donate to us. Please help us, please donate now, please.
Do what you can within your means to help, its the least we can do
Nearly 100 people have shared this post and not a single person has donated while my father is struggling to survive. Everyone is ignoring me. Please donate now, please.
Everything is falling apart before our eyes, and everyone keeps choosing silence as if my mother’s life means nothing. My mother urgently needs treatment, and every single day without help pushes her closer to pain and a slow death.
I will never forget those who saw our cries for help and chose to ignore them. Just ask yourself for one moment… if this were your mother, would you stay silent and walk away as if nothing was happening? Or would you do everything possible to save her before it’s too late?

Donate now and share this plea , every moment of silence could bring a mother closer to death. If you see this and choose to ignore us while you can help, just imagine how it would feel if it were your own mother suffering and waiting for someone to save her.
please share and donate!!!
If my mother dies, remember that you saw our cries for help and stayed silent. Her condition is getting worse every hour, and we cannot afford the treatment she urgently needs. My mother does not need sympathy alone, she needs someone to save her before it is too late. I’m begging you , donate or share this with anyone who might help save her life.
She just wanted to make her mom happy.

The boy rolled onto his side and watched his father walk to the door and watched him put his hand to the switch. And then the boy said, "Dad? You'll think I'm pretty crazy, but I wish I'd known you when you were little. I mean, about as old as I am right now. I don't know how to say it, but I'm lonesome about it. It's like—it's like I miss you already if I think about it now. That's pretty crazy, isn't it?

I swear I didn't want to write these words out of shame and embarrassment, but what happened to us in the Gaza Strip—the destruction, the genocide, the starvation of the people—is beyond imagination. My older brother, who was our provider, was killed by a treacherous bullet to the head. He was our only support, the one who provided us with food, and now we go to bed hungry, ravaged by the hunger that has consumed our bodies.
A few months later, my mother died from cancer that ravaged her body. We couldn't find her any treatment, medicine, food, or clean water until she passed away from the intense pain and hunger.
Now it's just me, my brother, and my father. We can't find the food and medicine I need because I suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which causes me to have difficulty breathing and choke in the middle of the night. Please donate; we need $450 to buy the necessary medication. I don't want what happened to my mother to happen to me. Please donate. 😭😭💔

I just spoke to the doctor and he told me they gave me a 25% discount on the price of the medication. Please, I still need $309. Donate and help me, I don't want to die, please 🥺🥺💔
Please help us. My father was crying by my side, saying, "I don't want to lose you like I lost your mother." He kept crying. Please save my life, even with a small amount. We still need $294. Please donate. 💔💔😭

Hello friends, I thank you very much for your continuous support, but right now I am in urgent need of you and your help. We are now in the holy month of Ramadan, which requires a lot of expenses, and there has been a significant rise in prices.
I also need to pursue my dream after losing everything. I need your support greatly—I need more than $1,500 to pay my university fees so I can receive my certificate and apply for scholarships.
You can find the images below the post.
Therefore, I am in great need of your help. I support my family, and at the same time, I am trying to achieve myself and continue my education.
Hello my friend,
My name is Mahmoud. I live in Gaza with my family, and we are going through a very difficult financial situation. I tried to create a donation link for my family, but I couldn't find someone to help organize and manage the campaign 🥺💔So my friend Ahmed decided to support me by sharing his own family’s donation link, and we agreed to split the donations between our two families.
Right now, we have almost no food, and the cost of living has become unbearable due to the siege, soaring prices, and the closure of all crossings.Everything has doubled in price in an unimaginable way 🥲🥺
We might be forced to flee to southern Gaza after the announcement of a full invasion of Gaza City 💔
The bombing and destruction never stop — not for a single moment. There is no longer any real life in Gaza. We are just struggling to survive, trying to secure the bare minimum: water and food.
Winter is coming, and we have no winter clothing after our home was destroyed and we were displaced multiple times 😭🥲Please, we urgently need financial help to buy food and store some in case the situation worsens.
This is our donation link.
Please remember: donations are shared between two families. So, for the sake of God, help us, my friend. Save our children, my younger siblings, my parents, and even my older siblings — we are all homeless and hungry 🥺🥲💔
My Story: From the Hell of War to the Search for Safety My name is Ahmed, a 20-year-old young man from Gaza. Since the war began, my life ha
💔 My name is Hanaa, a mother of seven children from Gaza City.
Before the war, we lived a simple but happy life. We had a beautiful home filled with laughter, family gatherings, and precious memories. My husband worked hard to build a small company that provided for us, and we dreamed of a bright future for our children. My eldest son had just begun a new job and was excited to start his life, while my second son proudly worked alongside his father.
Then the war took everything.
Our home was reduced to rubble. The company that my husband spent years building disappeared overnight. The life we had worked so hard for was gone in a moment.
But the greatest loss was my son.
My eldest son was killed while trying to bring food to our family. He left home hoping to help his hungry brothers and sisters and never came back. No mother should have to bury her child, especially a child whose last act was trying to feed his family.
As if that pain was not enough, my other son was severely injured and now desperately needs medical treatment that we cannot afford.
We spent every penny we had trying to survive. Today, we have no savings left, no home to return to, and no way to provide the basic necessities my children need. Every day is a struggle to find food, medicine, and shelter. As a mother, it breaks my heart to watch my children suffer and to feel powerless to help them.
That is why I started this campaign.
I am not asking for luxury or comfort. I am simply asking for a chance to keep my children alive, to provide food for their empty stomachs, medicine for my injured son, and hope for their future. My youngest daughter deserves the opportunity to grow up in safety and dignity, not surrounded by loss and hardship.
Our campaign is moving very slowly, and we are running out of options. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference for my family. If you are unable to donate, please share our story. Your kindness may reach someone who can help.

From the depths of a mother's heart, thank you for reading, sharing, donating, and standing beside my family during the darkest chapter of our lives. 🙏❤️
My name is Adham, and today I am sharing my mother's fundraiser with hope and gratitude.
My family and I have been facing very difficult circumstances, and despite our efforts to move forward, we still need support. I recently got married and am trying to build a life with my wife while also helping my family through these challenging times.
This fundraiser was created to help my family meet our basic needs and work toward a more stable future. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in our lives. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would be a tremendous help.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read our story, support us, or keep us in their prayers. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity mean more to us than words can express.
With sincere gratitude,
Adham ❤️

Hello friends,Thank you for your continued support, but I would like to inform you about something. Recently, donations have become very low or almost nonexistent. I don’t know exactly why, but I believe it may be due to the presence of many scammers. Unfortunately, there are some people who exploit others. However, my campaign has been reviewed and verified by trusted individuals.
I am responsible for taking care of 8 members of my family, and there is no provider or source of income for them except me. The situation is extremely difficult. The war has not ended every day there are many innocent people losing their lives for no reason.
Prices have risen drastically. For example, even a small plate of vegetable salad now costs more than $10, and many other basic items are very expensive. In addition, the value of the dollar has dropped against the shekel, where $1 is now about 2.9 shekels, while it used to be around 3.8. There is severe inflation and a very high increase in prices.
So please try to support me. If you are unable to donate, you can still help by sharing. I am trying my best to take care of my family.
