HELLO :)

I haven't posted for ages! I do apologise, work has been super busy and I was in Portugal last week (festivalling at Optimus Alive! and bathing by the sea!! However, I'm making a pact to myself to get back on the ball with posting. I have SO MUCH music I should've posted on here recently! (sorry for being selfish and keeping it all to myself)

Another thing while i've been away from here... I am now an official Ticketmaster blogger! They sent me to Isle of Wight festival to review - read here :). They will be sending me to more events too - so I'm ridiculously overly excited about this!

and my newest obsession, ELLA EYRE. She is just gawdayum awesome, I saw her at Isle of Wight festival and she was insane. Her voice is unbelievably powerful.

Sam Smith is a name that's popping up everywhere at the moment. His absolutely stunning number 1 single 'Stay With Me' shows off his individual and beautiful vocals, proving he belongs in that top spot! This particular live version stood out for me, enjoy :)

Discovered Amber Run at a secret gig the other week - I'd never heard of them before but am so happy to have come across them, they're awesome live and a lot of fun! I will definitely be keeping an eye on these guys!

Paolo Nutini

I was lucky enough to see him live in Utrecht a couple of weeks ago and it was bloody wonderful! If you ever get a chance to see him live don't miss out on that opportunity. The huskiness of his voice just gives him that something, making him stand out in the way he does.

The more I listen to Paolo Nutini the more I listen word by word to his lyrics, they are so beautifully intriguing. If you haven't yet, you really should buy his new album.

Turn it on and completely chill - have the lyrics absorb you into a ball of relaxation and joy :D
