TUMBLR'S RECENT UPDATE IS AWFUL AND WE SHOULD COMPLAIN LOUDER AGAINST IT.
Hey so, I thought maybe we should participate in a blackout day to protest against the new tumblr update.
Let's try March 19. So that people have time to see this and plan for it.
Do not log in or use tumblr for 24 hours on this day.
Reblog this and make a tag chain to maximise visbility—the more people aware of this awful update, the better.
Circle the date on your calendar, or set a reminder on your phone. As a bonus it will be a good break from social media. Spend the day doing things you like—start that book you've been waiting to read, go outside, watch a good movie... just do anything except open tumblr.
I think we should show tumblr that we are not happy with this update in every possible way we can.

I used to like tumblr and I'd like to cling to it, but this update is just horrible. It makes me not want to continue posting at all. It is utterly demotovating as-is with my being mature labelled, but this update is just intolerable. I do not know how I will feel motivated to post at all in the future if this update is not rolled back.
I know I don't have much reach, especially with a label on, but I hope this reaches at least a few people.
Please participate if you care. Please reblog and tag people you know. Send every bit of feedback to tumblr that you possibly can.
I really don't want to see my once favorite site ruined beyond repair. I really want to continue enjoying this site. I have a community of people here which I have built over years, a community which I deeply love and appreciate and cherish interacting with. My blog thrives on being able to see feedback in reblogs on my post. The whole point of posting is that people see it and engage with it. This update is at best nonsensical and at worst, going to shred off many creators from the platform and rip apart any last bits of fun we have using it.

Zhevani ad Caedis

Backstory:
Born from the blood of Bhaal, a bhaalspawn took the form of a seldarine drow and live a life in the drow society. At the age of 9, she escaped the underdark and found herself in the farm house of a tiefling family. The family consist Emris Varzana the father, Viorel Varzana the mother, their 3 children Mirana Varzana, Asla Varzana Diantha Varzana, with their pet dog, Tulip Varzana. The family took her in and treat her as one of their own.
Being the child of Bhaal, one night Zhevani unconsciously slaughter the entire farm house including the family member of the farm house. Horrified by the scene of gore she caused, she fleed back to the underdark, trying her best to process what happen and try to remember anything that caused her to go full on madness. Zhevani carries her guilt until the butler shows himself and explain to her about her purpose and existence. The butler then gave Zhevani her surname, "ad Caedis" which means "to slaughter" as he gave her father's order to embrace her true nature.
Context:
The drawing consist of 11 year old Zhevani, and five of her adoptive family, the Varzana family. (Emris on her right shoulder, Asla on her left shoulder, Viorel on her neck, Mirana on her left cheek, and Diantha on the right side of her head). The pose represent the bond between them and how they always supported her throughout her teens. Viorel represent the hate that she could not brush off after the massacre of her entire family even in the after life, and Zhevani carrying the guilt from the day she erased them till the day she die.

Backstory:
Born in Menzoberranzan, Miz'ri spent very few years in the underdark, One of her sisters, Selussa, was unhappy with drow society and longed for life on the surface under the sky, so when she run away to follow the goddess Eilistraee she took as many of her younger siblings as she could. Miz'ri and her sibling lived on the surface for many years before they were tracked down and killed. Miz'ri was the sole survivor.
She travels alone for a short time living in shadow and in animal form. Before she came to bladers gate, where she would meet a charming tiefling sorceress named Kalspira. She and Kalspira would quickly become friends then lovers as Kalspira did not judge Miz’ri for her ancestry and accepted her unconditionally. Over time Miz’ri would become incredibly terrified of Kalspira as she led the growing bhaal cult in balders gate, but she couldn't bring herself to leave as she could bear to be alone again.
Context:
(Miz’ri was created for a co-op playthrough so originally she is a tav x durge(Kalspira). When shes played solo, shes tav x shadowheart)
The pair of hands on her head/face are Kalspiras and along with the moon getting eclipse represent Miz’ri abandoning her ideals and turning a blind eye to the evils Kalspiras is a part of, as to not be alone. The hand on her neck is her mother and is representative of how her old life in Menzoberranzan still affects her today and she can never really escape it. The last two hands are Shadowhearts and Raphael, Shadowheart's hand rests reassuringly on her as they (unintentionally) help one another onto a better path away from gods they just want to use them and Raphael grabs at her in an attempt to get her to sign a contract.
Caedus

Backstory:
Caedus is born during a bloody ritual to create a new Bhaalspawn, some Drow have been sacrified and the baby Bhaalspawn emerged from the dead body of Bhaal himself preserved by some bhaalists. Also few blood drops of a powerful red dragon have been sheded during Caedus’ process creation
Caedus was found and adopted by a couple: a Tiefling and a Seldarine Drow in a lower city of Baldur's gate. The couple gave them the name of Monthea Stonehell. Monthea lives peacefully with their adoptive parents since the age of nine. One night, their urges wakes up for the first time. They kill their adoptive parents and burn the house with their draconic sorcery.
Panicked, Monthea wanders in the streets of Baldur's Gate. A Drow raid of a little house of Menzoberranzan find the child in the street and Drow decide to take them to Menzoberranzan. Manthea follows a training to become a soldier of the little house. Drow conduct experience of them, Drow block their power and with years Monthea forgets their power and the day of their adoptive parents' murder
But one night Bhaal appears in a Monthea's dream. Bhaal says to Monthea to become the leader of the cult of Bhaal and he gives them, their birth name to Monthea: Caedus. Caedus means murder, slaughter. Their urges awakes for the second time and now they stay, they are here, inside Caedus. Caedus awakes their power and with their powerful fire sorcery, they destroy the little house. They leave the underdark and it begins their journey as Bhaalist.
During years Caedus grows the cult of Bhaal and after they join the Absolute plan, but one day Orin takes place of Caedus. Orin wounds Caedus in their head and she inserts the Tadpole.
During the game, evil Caedus' personnality has totally disappeared with the trauma in the Moonrise towers. Now Caedus is a very kind person, their urges and their revelation that they are a Bhaalspawn is an horrible thing for them.
Context:
⚠️TW depression⚠️ the drawing shows my Durge at the beginning of the act 3, Caedus is so depressed after the revelations in the Moonrises tower and after to have learned that they were a Bhaalspawn. The hands of the three Chosen of the Absolute and the blood which flows on their hands show their past, this past which is responsible of their sadness, their depression.
The blue hands are mage hands which represent Gale, the present, their support and their hope of their friends and their love.

Backstory:
Val’ka’h was dropped into the underdark after being formed by Bhaal, eventually becoming a part of noble houses as a male consort/servant and raised prized by the house that was in possession of him due to his sorcery and unexplained ability to seemingly not die (due to his father). He was unable to be influenced by Lolth due to his bloodline and eventually cause massive death in his city/house he was under. His fear led home out of the city, to the surface, which he had dreamt of for a while, where he eventually connects with his father’s cult and becomes the closest thing Orin has to a sibling in their ofd environment. From here, the game events begin.
Context:
Val post game with the hands of those who have influenced his life the most,for better or worse. The transparency representing those who have died or left, and the others who are still here. Orin, who allowed him to escape his father. In her insistence that he strayed from Bhaal, she truly just wanted his attention back from when he was more himself. His teacher in his house, who taught him music. Polaris, my friends Tav. Astarion, his best friend/lover, and his father’s hand, Bhaal.
