Actually, some ppl do this cos some newer users don’t know about the gem market, and so they buy gem stuff in the AH for a lot over the market price.

So some users have taken 2 buying gem market stuff and placing them on the AH for their normal market price, or a few 1 to 10 gems above.

okay but why *be a dick wagon like that then (although I do totally get selling it at MP value exactly if it’s still being sold there, like if it’s something you find out you don’t want anymore/accidentally bought somehow. I’ll search AH just to buy those at MP value first before checking actual MP to help people get their gems back -shrugs-)
