Adult’s literature should have more illustrations in. I’m currently re-reading/ reading The Edge Chronicles by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell and the actual act of having illustrations in with the writing makes me enjoy the experience so much more. I can visualise the characters and world so much more clearly and it’s also just nice because they are amazing illustrations (Chris Riddell is one of my favourite illustrators,,,)

I realise it’s not for everyone but it works so well for my brain, I just wish more adult fiction books would include them (all throughout the stories too, not just at the end pages)
