Y’all… when the Beetles get back to Earth… many people want Grace to have helped save Rocky. And they have no way of knowing if he made it, right?

WELL… light takes about 16.3 years to travel from Erid to Earth… Earth scientists will see that the light from Erid’s sun will be brighter because Astrophage would be gone! Therefore they’d be under the impression that Rocky was safe and possibly Grace along with him :)

witch hunts, speculations and accusations harm the writing community as much as ai does. if not more. I don’t want to see another innocent writer get driven away from the community because someone decides to harass and accuse them for using ai just because their fic happens to have “ai telltales” — the same telltales ai got from having been trained on millions of human-made works to mimic how real humans actually write.

Concept: due to a combination of Rocky having been away from Erid for 50 years and being traumatized and also just not spending time with kids, vs Grace who is now fluent in eridian, able to speak it with his adaptive organ-keyboard setup and teaches middle school again Grace is actually more up to date on Eridian slang then Rocky. One day Grace is gonna be using his keyboard throw in some Young People Slang and out of habit Rocky is going to go “need word” like it’s some new English and both of them are going to blue screen
