i felt like todd from that scene in bojack where he gives his big "it's you" speech. you can't keep doing shitty things and think feeling bad about yourself is enough. you have to actively be a better person.
and i think goose knows this, but she also can't help but excuse that behavior. every character is a reflection of something, and if they're all building a fort for and crying over an abuser who belittles them in person and in his mind, what does that say?
ragatha's concerns about said dangerous person were also treated like she was being an overly possessive wet rag. in retrospect, she was trhying to stop him from killing a third person, but remember, this guy is lovely, precious, and wonderful.
that's all folks!
