@fluffysilverclouds
Oh shit. No. Shit. Thank you
Just gonna reblog this out of gratitude because I actually did forget…
Fffffffff let me get right on that.
and then reblog for the next forgetful son of a bitch
I’m so great full for everyone that is reblogging this. I totally forgot to take mine
I think that there is some sort of unspoken fairy godparent thing where you see this, realize that you forgot your meds, and rebagel it because if you forgot someone else must have. And in our turn we all take care of each other, even if we don’t know it.
They didn't want to get up for breakfast
the fact that some painted bats in Thailand naturally come in orange and black Halloween colors makes me so happy you dont understand

GOD I JUST LOVE SEEING MERLIN TUTTLE’S NAME IN CIRCULATION ALSO
Five years later and I still love seeing that guy’s name on attentive pictures of bats

Ahahah, guys I put my jeans on this morning that have holes in and one of the holes lines up perfectly with my tattoo 😭
Loooook
UGH is is literally so much to ask that I have time and money to learn how to tailor clothes and embroider and knit and make cakes and bake bread and do makeup and hair and nails and do all my own diy projects around the house and
like I know this is probably so hard to make but my brain says I could do that and I need to do that
btw since this I have been beautifully and painfully trying to learn to cook, crochet, sew, paint etc and oh boy am I mediocre at a bunch of things but I’m having fun
very interested in hearing about the pattern well-documented in a small region of the Netherlands and all other niche information on it. What pattern is it ?
Fawn spots!
Only found in European and Scandinavian red foxes. Never been documented in any other red fox subspecies and no records of it in American red foxes. Can occur anywhere in Europe but tends to be concentrated in certain areas.
Will make a proper post on it when I'm less tired.
The cross morph does not naturally occur in Europe. It is only found naturally in North American red foxes (Vulpes fulva). It does occur in a few areas of Northern Europe where fur farm foxes were released to deliberately introduce the colour into the wild population. This photo of spotted pelts from Denmark taken the 1970s appears to show a few cross foxes with the pattern;
The silver morph does occur in Europe but is known simply as black, with the name silver exclusively referring to American foxes. It has been recorded in at least one black fox in the UK (note the spotted ears);
Most black foxes in the UK likely have some silver fox ancestry due to the history of these foxes being released from fur farms and also, more recently, escaped pets.
That was all really interesting, thank you! I honestly wouldn't have guessed that (natural) crosses are exclusive to NA.
Yup!
Since they're a hybrid of two different fox types, the European crosses tend to look somewhat different from American ones.
American cross foxes;
Scandinavian cross foxes;
European hybrid crosses tend to lack the black mask on the face, have a less distinct cross over the shoulders and have much paler tails than American crosses.
Sound on if you guys wanna know what a little King Vulture sounds like 👀
creachur… 🥺
btw if anyone wants to know what she looks like now. she’s one :)
Hey, hey, Zooo, do you want to see an absolute CREATURE?
Oh my god????
Look at this electrified Dune coyote. Hes perfect???
Ok I looked up this shelter and they seem to specialize in the world's most bizarre made-of-scraps dogs on the planet. They're all so sad and pathetic. That white dog is called Carla and she's Egon's mirrorverse twin and if anyone can go to Arizona and get her for me I need her
