Thanksgiving Traditions -- Tim Drake x Reader, Batfamily x Reader
Happy Thanksgiving lovelies!! This is one of my favorite holidays and I felt the need to write a prompt for today! I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful Thanksgiving and are surrounded by the people who love you. So, from all of us here at ask-a-robin, have a fantastic Thanksgiving!!

âThis is ridiculous. Why do I have to watch this obnoxious parade?â
âDid I mention that thereâs a dog show afterwards?â You asked sweetly.
Damian scoffed but seemed to settle into his seat on the couch. Your boyfriend chuckled at his brotherâs actions. You both knew asking Damian to watch the Macyâs Thanksgiving Day Parade was a long shot, but for some reason he had agreed. You secretly believed Bruce had coerced him into it. Or it could be that the Son of Batman was starting to feel the holiday spirit. Either way, you were happy to have the extra company.
You snuggled in closer to Timâs side as you watched the parade. He put his arm around your shoulders and gave your upper arm a gentle squeeze. Unlike the rest of his brothers, Tim had lived a relatively normal childhood, so doing mundane things like watching parades and having big dinners for Thanksgiving wasnât as alien to him. He was more than willing to spend the better part of the day with you watching the parade and then the dog show. The fact that one of his siblings was also present was an added bonus.
An overly dramatic gasp drew your attention away from the marching band that had just started to perform on-screen. âYou guys are watching the parade without me?!â
âDonât sound so offended Grayson. Itâs just a parade.â
âA parade,â Dick said as he dropped into the open armchair near his youngest brother, âthat only happens once a year!â
âI never imagined you would be so into this parade Dick.â
âAre you kidding? This is a Wayne family time honored tradition!â
You gave the first Boy Wonder a droll look. âReally? Bruce would sit down with all of you and watch the parade?â
âI never said that. Still doesnât mean I skipped watching it.â
Your expression softened at his last comment. The image of a young Dick sitting by himself in the TV room watching the parade all alone made your heart ache. You understood that Bruceâs job as both the CEO of Wayne Enterprises and as Batman kept him constantly busy, but that didnât make it any more understandable as to why he would leave his sons to their own devices. Itâs no wonder all of them joined the vigilante game.
The room fell back to silence as the four of you watched the parade. A snide remark from Damian here and there was all the conversation that went on.
It was about half way through the parade when Alfred stepped into the room. âAh, Iâd wondered where you all had wondered off to.â
âHappy Thanksgiving Alfred!â You chirped happily which made the butler chuckle.
âOne âHappy Thanksgivingâ will suffice for the day Miss (Y/N).â
Tim motioned the older man over. âCome join us Alfred. Youâve missed most of the parade, but you can still see all of the dog show.â
âIâll have to decline Master Timothy. Someone has to make the Thanksgiving dinner after all.â
âIâll take Alfredâs cooking over takeout any day.â Jason spoke as he moved passed the man in question. His eyes narrowed at the seating arrangement. âWhy is the only open seat next to the demon brat? Iâd rather die again than sit next to him.â
Damian growled at the Red Hood. âThat could be arranged.â
âCome on you two, itâs Thanksgiving! At least attempt to be brotherly for today, please?â
You gave the two the best puppy dog eyes you could muster. You knew your wide (E/C) eyes could make even the mighty Batman reconsider his actions. Jasonâs exasperated groan and Damianâs incoherent muttering let you know that you had been successful. The dark-haired man plopped down next to his brother with an irritated look on his face. The tension only lasted for a few more minutes before the two become engrossed in the TV. The other two Wayne boys chuckled at them. Tim placed a tender kiss to your temple.
âYouâre a miracle worker sweetheart.â
âAnything for family.â
BONUS!
Bruce was glad to finally be out of the office. He did his best not to work on holidays, but sometimes he couldnât get around it. The Dark Knight counted his blessing for not working too late. It was still rather early and if he was lucky Bruce could relax for a while before dinner.
He had just stepped through the front doors when his ears picked up shouting from the TV room. Curious, Bruce walked closer to investigate.
âYouâre even dumber than I thought if you believe that mutt will win.â Damianâs voice sneered at someone, more than likely Jason or Tim.
âThat mutt,â Jason growled, âhas won the past three dog shows.â
(Y/N) piped up, âI think the corgi should win.â
âThat little thing? It looks like a bread loaf.â
âYour face looks like a bread loaf!â Jason snapped.
The sounds of a struggle soon followed. Bruce shook his head in amusement at their behavior. How they hadnât already gotten into a fight yet today was beyond him. Knowing (Y/N), she probably guilt tripped his boys into acting somewhat civil. Again he shook his head and began to walk to the kitchen with a content smile on his face.

Here's a little something from my days on ask-a-robin. And for those who aren't watching the dog show today, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi won 1st in the Herding group!!
