I've been watching some BTS and interviews with Sam & Cait and the more I see of their friendship the more I love it! They seem to have a real genuine affection, care and respect for one another and it's beautiful to see.
A lifelong friendship for sure
I'm watching Outlander for the very first time, I've almost finished season 2, and I have to say it's pretty perfect so far!
Season 1 is a masterpiece, it's one of the best first seasons a show has ever produced, despite the fact that it contains a couple of the most difficult to watch episodes I've ever seen. The performances were outstanding but my goodness was it hard to watch!
This show has been on my watch list for a long time, mostly because I've heard so much about Jamie and Claire and their chemistry that I just needed to check it out for myself. I had to find out whether all the hype was worth it and I have to say, it mostly definitely is and it's far more than I could have imagined. These two are incredible, this love story is beautiful and their chemistry is insane! I've seen chemistry before but what Sam and Cait have is definitely up there as some of the absolute best. Their offscreen friendship seems adroable too!
I know I've got a long way to go and it's already been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions but I can't wait to see how it all plays out. I just wish I'd started watching sooner! But I do love the fact that I have so much more to see and Jamie and Claire are already one of my all time favourite romances.
I certainly see why so many people rave about this show and this love story, Jamie & Claire are gorgeous together and I think Sam & Cait were born to work together and play these roles! They really are something pretty special ❤️

It's been over a week and there's still no word from Amazon about their ridiculous decision to cancel Stargate! They are either purposefully ignoring us because they truly don't care about the fans, which is pretty obvious given their apparent reasoning behind the cancellation, or they are too cowardly to face us, most likely it's a bit of both.
I do however, love to see that pretty much all the comments on their posts are Stargate related so they can't claim that they haven't seen the reactions and outcry from the fans. It's right there in front of them!
I'm not holding my breath for a response, I honestly don't believe they care at all, but stranger things have happened so you never know. They at least owe us a response, because cancelling a show because it will appeal too much to the fans of that show is beyond ridiculous and pathetic. The fans and the show deserve better!
Amazon perfectly illustrating why I don't get excited by new shows or watch much TV at all now, apart from reruns and shows that have already ended. Because why? Why get excited by something when the chances of it actually making it to the screen or being renewed are getting lower and lower?
To say that a new series would be unlikely to attract new viewers is nonsense in my opinion. Stargate has proven over the decades that it can and will attract new viewers, not to mention the existing fan base is already large and dedicated.
Thanks for proving me right Amazon, for proving why many people are reluctant to watch new shows and why many people prefer to watch shows that ended years ago. This isn't the way to attract anyone to watch your shows.
I'm disappointed by the news about the new Stargate series but I can't say I'm surprised. It's happening more and more these days 😔

May 14, 2024 No view of these Northern Lights, but growing up in Minnie we'd see them all the time. Up north at the Lake we'd float out in the wee, little rowboat 🚣 on to the Lake, and just lie in silent repose against the life jackets staring up and out to the undulating curtains of color & light that quietly excited the air… Witnessed several times whilst in Alaska... Very bright showing up yonder, reflecting and refracting via airborne crystalline powdered snow..... etc. I'm a big fan of Madame Borealis and the kids ~ I call her Aurora, because we are so intimate. (sigh) Speaking of intimate: Here's a brief peek at two of the finest friends money can't buy. The smartest, funniest, 'in-tune' person of the female persuasion with whom I have ever had the privilege to work, play, and simply KNOW. Time with 'manda is complete with laughter (LOTS 'n LOTS of...) ~ parent-talk (our daughters are OK by us), 'smart talk' (by our own definition), and some rather middle-of-the-road fine dining. We think we have the potential to be pretty cool.... But that's just our opinion!!

Absolutely! It's more of a want than a need as obviously they've been together since 'Threads' but I would love to see a little something despite all the proof anyone needs being right there in the show

I liked Kerry and I'm glad that when they gave Jack another (brief) love interest, it was her and not another creepy Pete like character.
It could have been so much worse and there needs to be more Kerry's on shows
I've just realised, it's been a while since I last saw it, but in Avalon pt 1, Jack mentions that he has to sign the papers to his house, his car and motorcycle but since when does Jack have a motorcycle? Unless I've missed/forgotten something which is very possible, the only person with a motorcycle is Sam, so could this be another hint that they got together after Threads?
Also I did notice he says my house, my car but not my motorcycle, he just says motorcycle.
I don't know, maybe I'm reading far too much into it but they did dot a few tiny hints here and there throughout S9 and S10 so this could be one of them.
They definitely got together after Threads, there is no other explanation and the subtle clues we got confirms that for me, even if it was never truly confirmed on screen. I do love these little tidbits they gave us every once in a while though ☺️
There may be a few issues with this scene, certain pieces of dialogue I wish hadn't existed but the chemistry between Sam and Jack was shining through.
It didn't give me much of a chance when it came to them, especially when these were the kinds of looks they were giving each other during their first meeting. I mean, I couldn't watch this scene and be expected to do anything else other than ship them, could I?
Plus Sam definitely held her own in a room full of men, she was awesome and right from the start I knew she'd be one of my all time favourite characters ❤️

I think this is my favourite Sam and Jack hug.
Despite the heartbreaking circumstances that lead to it, there is something so intimate and beautiful about it that makes it not only my favourite hug but also one of my all time favourite Sam and Jack scenes.
Sam is feeling so many different and conflicting emotions, deep grief and shock over losing Janet but also immense relief that Jack is okay, that he's still alive and with her, when it could easily have turned out so differently. She is dealing with a lot but Jack is a safe place, she knows he won't judge her, he won't tell her to pull herself together or try and insinuate she's somehow weak for showing emotion, he's just going to be there for her, like he always is.
It's at times like this, times of high emotion or danger, when keeping their true feelings under wraps becomes a little harder, but I love how neither one of them holds back, they both need this and while in relative privacy, they are able to just be Sam and Jack for a moment.
The little 'come here' from Jack (it always gets me when he says that to her!) and the way Sam closes her eyes as Jack dips his head into her neck is so intimate, he just wants to take her pain away but he knows he can't and I think he needs this hug just as much as she does. I also think it's here when the reality of what has happened, and what could have happened, really starts to hit them. I just know that they stayed this way for a while, neither wanting to let go.
It's moments like this that really cement Sam and Jack as one of the best ships, their chemistry is, as always, incredible and it speaks to the talent and bond that RDA and AT have that they can convey a huge amount in scenes like this without really saying a lot, or anything at all in some cases. Some of their best moments have been when neither of them utter a word, they are just that good.
It's why Sam and Jack will always be one of my most precious OTP's ❤️
