Jimin is really glowing and his hair looked so pretty the last few concerts. He doesn’t even look real.
BTS fandom is built around a ship who is itself built on Jimin being villainized and bullied. And even though i think fans are responsible for their own actions, there’s still something sinister about the fandom being run by people who hate Jimin and about the group but specifically Jk and Taehyung gaining fans because of it.
Taekookers narratives are some of the first things new fans are exposed to. And this resulted in the entire fandom being hostile one way or another towards Jimin. Anyway i’m glad he doesn’t need their support.
I don't exactly fault Jhope for his request that Jimin reduce his crouch apart from him doing it in front of the cameras because Jimin doing that move does make it stand out that the others aren't bending very much. It's just a shame that BTS' current philosophy is to cater to the lowest common denominator. Their performances, the concert sets, their selection of songs etc etc - it's not the standard it used to be. If the choreo is too difficult, there's still ways to make performances entertaining or rework it. If you're trying to go for a mature adult look, there's still ways to have the performances stand out without them just walking around empty stages the majority of the time. I can't imagine the BTS of 8-10 years ago would have members play clapping games for a solid 40 seconds on stage. You're too mature for run BTS apparently but not too mature for this sort of thing. Putting aside how cringe it is, it's sad when you compare it to how thoughtful their concerts used to be. I would wonder if they're burnt out from doing an album and world tour immediately after leaving the military but who knows. They're prideful as BTS but they don't take pride in their performances like they used to
I mean it’s less about Jhope or what he was correcting and more about the picture they want to paint. Even though he also plays into it, like i said. And it’s nothing new like we had to watch how in every interview he was just waiting here saying nothing when asked who’s the best dancer because he knew he was gonna get picked by other members every time the question was asked. Without ever mentioning Jimin. The members took a part in creating these narratives just as much as armys.
At this point isn’t it weird how we didn’t see Jhope actually correcting the non dancers in a 40min video but they always have time to show him correcting Jimin for some reason. I think Jimin was also the only one seen being worried about his voice. This is official content so there’s obviously a direction they follow and we’ve seen throughout the years how they want to portray him.
About their performances, if we put aside the lack of dancing, it’s one thing to act goofy one time on stage it’s another thing for it to be an actual planned moment like it is.
I feel bad for other members solos because in their way to try and drag him they have to admit Jimin stand out too much. Imagine admitting someone you hate is the stand out.
Him adding his own style in choreos will never be a drag. It’s what makes him captivating. And it’s what elevates their performances.

Saying Jimin needs to "adapt" to how everybody else in the group does choreo like he's ever struggled. Or frame him as being bullheaded because he refuses to limit himself when dancing. In no world does that make him a bad dancer.
And why even act like it's for the sake of uniformity when BTS hasn't had seamless in sync choreo for a while now. 😭
Jimin having his own style of dance is exactly why the group and the company has utilized it throughout BTS' career. They see it as an asset.
These other solo stans nor armys want to be honest with themselves and admit that the other 6 members have been slacking off this tour. And instead they're trying to have Jimin shoulder their discontent by turning his consistent effort into a negative.
So Jimin wasn't much around the others, was he? I would love to know the reason. Was he not feeling well most of the time (he mentioned the IV 😕) or does he keep his distance? And then those remarks from Jin and Jhope of all people. They admitted on camera that they can't seem to keep up with Jimin but in a way to shame him. Man, I'm so over it.
I'm not gonna delve into whether or not Jimin seems distant from the other members tbh cause it'll all be speculation from me regardless.
Jin didn't say anything that stood out to me in that clip (if we're referencing the same one) outside of it being indicative that he’s unable to keep up like you said and Jimin has to take note of it.
But the fact that Hobi took that as an opportunity to approach Jimin over something so minor irritated me real bad lol.
Like of all things "you're crouching too low"? If your knees are fucked up say that don’t try to harp on Jimin because his aren’t.
Like l've never seen him single out and “correct" other members (especially the ones who actually need the correction) as much as he makes sure to correct Jimin the one professionally trained dancer in the group. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it feels nitpicky
I’m just glad Jimin still does as he wants and doesn’t listen to these remarks.
Jungkook solos dragging JM:
Taehyung solos dragging JM:
Thanks I guess😂😂😂
I feel like a lot of armys definitely believe that Jimin’s “doing too much” while performing. Like he’s intentionally trying to stand out instead of that just being his default setting. Jimin has never taken it easy while being on stage but in their heads when he performs, they just see it as him trying to be a show off.
They’ve dragged other groups like Aespa and Blackpink for being shitty performers (still do) or not having stage presence. But in true army fashion, they’ll be hypocritical through everything in the name of defending BTS.(well everybody who isn’t Jimin) Even if it means penalizing the member who’s still interested in upholding the standard BTS used to be praised for.
But if they feel more inclined to watch 30+ year old men playing patty cake on stage instead of actually performing, then sure!
Deep down it’s bothering armys because like you pointed out they were always proud of BTS being performers. They even go as far as to pretend they worry about Jimin not pacing himself but if the members were giving the same energy, none of them would be complaining about doing too much or over dancing.
With his way of performing and dancing Jimin reminds every one of what BTS used to be, even if none of them were ever at his level. And he just proves that their strategy about not dancing/doing choreo wasn’t the best and that it’ll always be more interesting to see someone giving a 100% on stage with or without choreo than whatever they’re doing right now.

pjm i love you so much :(
Jimin's hair 😵💫😵💫😵💫 so pretty 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Taehyung not being able to do Jimin’s workout routine because it’s centered around body control, and posture alignment and Jimin’s flexibility. That’s crazy. I knew he must have an exercise routine tailored specifically to him as a dancer, but now I really need to know exactly what his routine is. I wonder if it’s similar to Pilates.
BTS not submitting to the grammys is a great decision. The humiliation they put them through all those years too wasn’t even worth winning at the end.
I don't get the connection between NORMAL and CK pajamas. How does sleepwear correlate with the song?
Obviously just another cash grab and a way to push a favored member 🙄. ARMY will whine and complain about the price but will fork out the cash anyway.
First time hearing about this, but the tried and true OT7 Trojan horse method they love to use for that man doesn’t surprise me lmao.

The notion that the member who's most "stable" is being promoted by Hybe is a fiction that's mostly been built by JK's fans as a justification because even they couldn't come up with any rational reason why JK is promoted so much more than any other member. Certainly Hybe hasn't said this as far as I know though I'm willing to be corrected if I'm off the mark on this. Also neither Hybe nor Bighit music follow this criteria anywhere else in any other group. Forget Hybe, before I listened to BTS and came into this fandom, I've never heard of "stability" being cited as a reason an artist was on top or being promoted. Beautiful, powerful vocals like Adele or Ariana Grande? Yes Stability? Nope. They have to use the flimsy moniker of stability because JK doesn't have powerful vocals like afore mentioned artists or even particularly great live vocals recently
Yes it’s some bullshit everyone came up with to explain the clear disparity in promo and in lines distributions between Jk and the other members. A label reason to promote someone isn’t cause they have better vocal stability. It’s also not the reason why he gets most of the lines or screen time.
When you’re not being polluted by armys/kpop opinions, jk’s voice isn’t anything special and Jimin’s voice is the stand out in the group. Vocal stability is great but I don’t think it’s the reason why most people might love an artist.
I’ve said this before, but take away Jungkook being the better technical singer and what does he have over Jimin?
Absolutely nothing.
Jimin has always been the more impactful performer and the better artist. HYBE chose Jungkook because he’s cookie cutter and pliant enough that he’ll do whatever is asked of him. A man who has been on record to say he doesn’t have a story to tell, doesn’t have any desire to write and will do whatever is asked of him does not make a better artist to promote. That makes him a puppet.
A case study can be done as to how Jungkook who dropped 3 singles with massive push, left no residual mark or barely comes up in conversations. But Jimin, who got drastically fucked over with Like Crazy that had zero promotion still manages to be the topic of the best solo debut a kpop soloist has ever had.
So no Jungkook is not the overall objectively better pick to promote over Jimin. He just has the luck to be favored more by Bang PD and the fandom. That’s literally it.
