ANONYMOUSLY OR NOT, TELL ME SOMETHING YOU LIKE ABOUT MY MUSE/BLOG
it could be about my portrayal, my headcanons, my blog’s aesthetic, my muse’s dynamic with someone else’s muse, etc.
flyboy-forgotten:
“I didn’t see anyone but you.” A frown tugged at his lips, concern in his eyes at the thought that there might be another small child out there, alone and scared and traumatized. “But I’ll tell you what- tomorrow we can look for him ok?” He promised. Gray set the boy down gently on the couch, disappearing into the kitchen, just to return moments later, a young woman- clearly the babysitter- slipping out of the apartment as he moved back towards the little boy, crouching low. A warm smile once more touched his face, as he reached out to gently ruffle the boys hair.
“What’s say we get you some warm food huh? For tonight, you can sleep in my bed, I’ll crash on the couch.”
“He’ll be all alone tonight,” Billy said. That wasn’t fair. They were twins, they were never, ever meant to be apart. And Tommy was such a good brother, he didn’t deserve to be in the dark all alone.
Neither did Billy. They didn’t do anything wrong, did they? They did everything mom said, everything she said that they were born to do, and no one got really hurt in the process. Except… for them, now. And probably dad. He looked up as the man fussed with his hair. “I.. I could eat. But I’m not going to sleep.”
“I promise in the morning, we’ll go look for him, okay sweetheart?” Gray soothed, stroking through his hair gently, dropping a gentle kiss to the boys forehead. “How about I make you a deal, okay? I know you’re scared. I’m sometimes scared to sleep too.” He admitted. “So how about we get you some food, and we’ll find you some clean clothes and you can have a hot bath. Then you can snuggle up beside me and we’ll watch movies okay?”
And there was that soft smile once more, one so often found when talking to his own little boy. “And if you do fall asleep, I’ll stay up all night to protect you ok?”
@flyboy-forgotten sent EDWARD A NUDE:
🍆
Needless to say, Eddie was quite surprised by the message he received on his phone. Or… more so the photo that was attached to the message. Eddie always thought himself as an ENIGMA. But he was beginning to suspect this man is even more of one. After all, WHO sends their ( previous ) kidnapper a licentious photograph ? Pushing aside his confusion, Eddie does smile at the message, & somewhat shortly afterwards, wrote a reply.
[ SMS: GRAY ] : And what’s the explanation for such a revealing photograph?
[ SMS: GRAY ] : Not that I’m complaining. No, no… I could never gripe about eye candy.
[ SMS: GRAY ] : Are you missing me?
Gray snickered in amusement at the reply from his newest source of entertainment. He’d taken the photo with care, making sure to show all of his best angles, tongue stuck out in playful antagonism. Was it the best idea, playing with fire with one of Gotham’s rogues? Definitely not. Was it funny? Absolutely.
[SMS: Riddleme] Do I really need an explanation? Maybe I just felt cute today.
[SMS: Riddleme] Presumptuous, aren’t we? Maybe I’m just reminding you why you should be missing me. I might be open to another kidnapping though if you ask real nice.

He.
Was.
Stolen.
Gray wasn’t quite sure one of Gotham’s rogues of all fucking things had decided to snatch him up like it was absolutely nothing at all. He’d been minding his own business, walking home from work like he had done every other night for years without issue, when he’d been snatched away. At first, he had thought it was just a normal mugging. Maybe human trafficking?
Imagine his surprise to see the Riddler of all things was his captor.
He ought to be worried. He knew that, somewhere in his brain to be sure. And yet…
“So, do you make a habit of stealing random strippers? I mean, I know I’m pretty but I have to say this is a first.”
He had already planted the riddle, & kidnapped the brother. Now, all he had to do was wait for Batgirl to walk into his INGENIOUS DEATH TRAP. Even if it’s very likely she’s expecting a trap; Edward’s delusions of grandeur had convinced him otherwise.
Although they were not outside, clouds filled the air. This was from the cigarette the Riddler’s sucking on. Abduction can sometimes be a stressful thing, Riddler was already trying to soothe his nerves in case his victim became increasingly annoying. Right now, he was uncertain. When said victim spoke up, Riddler turned to him, head shaking.
“ No, typically I kidnap government officials, police officers, or doctors at Arkham… but you ? ” He inched closer, that devilish smile curling on his face, “ you’re bait. ”
you’re bait.
Gray cocked his head, a curious confusion writing itself apparent on his face. Bait? For what? A snort escaped him, rolling his eyes at the emerald clad man in obvious amusement, even as he moved to slide with ease into the mans lap.
Without warning, nimble fingers shifted, caught the cigarette from between the mans lips and brought them to his own. “Bait for what? You’re crazy if you think Carmine is going to pay up for me, we have a strict “no paying kidnappers” rule. And if you’re gonna keep me here, I really do hope you plan on entertaining me.” He hummed, mischief in his voice.
"Sooo... I quit my job today..." ((flyboy-forgotten, hi I have Gray admitting he's in love with Jay!))
@flyboy-forgotten
Jason stilled.
God, he had hated Gray’s job. And Gray had known about it. But Jason would never dream to force Gray to give up his means for independence. The man had done what he needed to do to provide for himself and for his kid.
Gray giving up his job... Jason moved, pulling Gray to him, wrapping his arms around the other man. ‘’I’ll help you, for as long as you need, till you get a new job,’’ he vowed. ‘’Thank you...’’
Jason cradled Gray's face in his hands, as if holding a treasure. Because as much as Gray was promising himself to him now, Jason knew he already belonged to Gray. Any thought of him being harmed, of Kaden being harmed... it was unbearable. The thought of them leaving... he never wanted to think about it, no matter how often his nightmares pestered him. ''And I'm yours, Gray. For as long as you want me around, I promise...''
“Then I guess you’re going to be stuck with me for an awful long time.” Gray laughed, a rueful smile on his lips as let his forehead lean to rest against the younger mans. “I never expected anyone to be able to make me feel like this. I’ve never felt like this before- you’re the only one.”
flyboy-forgotten:
“I don’t know who Tommy is, kiddo.” Gray murmured. “You were the only one I found. As for how high- I own the whooole top two floors of this place. My apartment is the very top, but I have a cool gym on the one below.”
The elevator doors opened to reveal a large, modern looking apart with a glass windows lining two walls. “Just one second, okay sweetheart? I have to send Kaden’s babysitter home for the night, and then we’ll get you something warm to eat. Are you okay if I set you down? I can keep holding you if you’d like.”
“He’s my twin. He’s thirteen minutes older,” Billy explained. He turned his head up, seeing only the roof of the elevator but he could feel them moving up, and that was a pretty weird sensation. The doors opened and it was.. pretty cool. Very different from their home, even the newest one where the TV was all flat and the window drapings were simple and smart.
“I’m fine. My ears just feel funny,” Billy mumbled, loosing his arms a little to be put down. No one had held him ike that in a long time, not even Tommy.
“I didn’t see anyone but you.” A frown tugged at his lips, concern in his eyes at the thought that there might be another small child out there, alone and scared and traumatized. “But I’ll tell you what- tomorrow we can look for him ok?” He promised. billytothemax:
“I don’t know sweetheart…” He murmured, rubbing the boys back gently as he approached the tall building he lived in. “Sometimes… sometimes mommys aren’t very good.” Gray admitted softly. “But I tell you what. I’m not going to leave, okay? I live at the very very top of this building, and I’m going to take you up there where it’s safe and sound, we’ll get you some clean, warm clothes, something nice and warm to eat, and I promise you, I’ll still be there in the morning when you wake up, ok?”
Another gentle smile- yes, he’d already made up his mind. He would absolutely be keeping this poor little boy.
“And if you’d like, you can stay with me and my little boy, Kaden, alright Billy?” He offered, hitting the elevator button for the penthouse. It wasn’t like he didn’t have the space- he owned the top two floors, courtesy of Carmine.
Billy turned his head to see the said building - it was much bigger than anything in Westview, where the tallest was three stories at the most. Maybe there’d be a basement, but Billy had only ever seen Agatha’s and he was pretty sure he hated that place very much. “So high.”
He dropped his chin down, starting to feel a little bit calmer. Mom was a good mom. She tried her best, as far as he knew. She got a little dark when dad left but Billy wanted to help her so much, even when she sent them away. “Where’s Tommy? How high are we going?”
“I don’t know who Tommy is, kiddo.” Gray murmured. “You were the only one I found. As for how high- I own the whooole top two floors of this place. My apartment is the very top, but I have a cool gym on the one below.”

flyboy-forgotten:
“It’s okay. It’s okay now, I promise.” Gray soothed, already carrying the boy out of the alleyway, shimmying out of his hoodie as he went, wrapping it around the boy gently. “It’s nice to meet you, Billy. I’m going to keep you safe, ok?” God, the words killed him. How do you tell a kid he’d been abandoned? Especially when you’d watched him piece together? “I don’t know where your momma is, buddy.” He admitted softly. “But if you like, in the morning we can try to find her together. You’re in Gotham right now.”
“She left us alone. Why’d she leave us alone to die?” Billy wrapped his arms around the man’s neck, not willing to let go yet. At least the hoodie was warmer than the cool air of the city. “We were home. In Westview.”
He wasn’t sure where Gotham was, but it was most certainly very different, at least visually, from Westview. No picket fences, or neat green grass or white picket gazebo. Nothing.
“Nice to meet you, sir…” he said, because he didn’t know what else to, even if it wasn’t nice at all.
“I don’t know sweetheart...” He murmured, rubbing the boys back gently as he approached the tall building he lived in. “Sometimes... sometimes mommys aren’t very good.” Gray admitted softly. “But I tell you what. Oh God, those tears broke his heart. This kid couldn’t be too much older than his own little boy, tucked safely in bed asleep at home. Instinct kicked in, hugging the child to him tightly, one hand landing in the boys hair, stroking through soothingly. “Shhh… shhh… it’s okay, little one. You’re safe. You’re safe now.” Gray soothed, standing with the child in his arms, rocking him gently, the way he did Kaden when the boy was upset. “You don’t have to go away. No one is going to hurt you again, ok?”
He offered his warmest smile to the boy, still bouncing him gently in his arms. “Can you tell me your name, kiddo? I’m guessing your mom and dad aren’t really in the picture… you’re welcome to come stay with me, huh? I have a little boy at home too.”
He was whole again. Billy wrapped his arms around the man - he wasn’t great with strangers, indeed he’d never even met one, but he couldn’t help it. He just didn’t want to let go and fall apart again. What if he fell apart again? He hiccuped some tears just desperate to hold on a little longer.
“I’m Billy,” He said, feeling dumb and pitiful. “Mom put us to bed. She acted like everything was fine. Where’d she go?”
“It’s okay. It’s okay now, I promise.” Gray soothed, already carrying the boy out of the alleyway, shimmying out of his hoodie as he went, wrapping it around the boy gently. “It’s nice to meet you, Billy. "Buddy, can you go back to sleep for me?”
He knew he was asking in vain well before he ever did, but he figured it was worth a shot. It was far too early in the morning, he couldn’t have coffee for another month, and Kaden had woken him up. “Awake, daddy!” The boy replied as though it were the most obvious thing in the world, contenting himself to drive one of his hot wheels over his parents pregnant belly.
Gray groaned softly, tugging at Jasons sleeve, even as he shifted to stretch out. “You’re on dad duty before eight am.”

Gray giving up his job... Jason moved, pulling Gray to him, wrapping his arms around the other man. ‘’I’ll help you, for as long as you need, till you get a new job,’’ he vowed. ‘’Thank you...’’
A snag of guilt rippled through him. He hated leaving Gray behind, and part of him - a secret, small part Jason didn't dare give a voice - was aching to rest more. To be able to go to bed with Gray, and wake up next to him in the mornings. To be able to pick up Kaden from school, help him with his homework. Settling down a little.
Having a life outside of the mask.
Instead, Jason clutched Gray tightly, meeting his lips again for a kiss.
Fingers tangled in Jason’s hair, drawing him ever closer, even as he shuddered in the mans arms- God, he had never known he could be as happy as he was at this moment. Being here felt like coming home in a way he knew had nothing to do with the apartment.
“I’m just yours.” He whispered again, stealing feverish kisses. “God, I think I’ve only been yours for a while.”
flyboy-forgotten:
@billytothemax liked for a starter!
He was exhausted- absolutely exhausted. It had been a rough night at the club, full of asshole customers and high heels that had damn near made his feet bleed. He was looking forward to nothing more than getting home, letting the babysitter go, and collapsing into his bed.
He rounded the corner of one of the back alleys that got him home quickest, just to pause, completely stock still. There was a little boy there. What the fuck, there was a little boy sprawled out on the ground, literally piecing back together.
Maybe if Gray lived anywhere other than Gotham, this would have been frightening. What did it say about the place that this seemed almost par for the course?
He hesitated for a only a moment, watching as the last pieces went into place before he was moving forward, crouching and gently scooping the boy up, drawing a little arm around his neck.
“Hi kiddo. It’s okay, you don’t have to be afraid, I’m not going to hurt you.” He soothed. “That looked pretty scary. My name is Gray and my little sister is a nurse- is it alright if I bring you some place safe for tonight and let her look you over in the morning?”
Not where are your mom and dad. Not do you have a safe place to go. No- he didn’t need those answers, not after seeing the obvious trauma the child had just finished going through.
The last thing Billy remembered was mom tucking them to bed. She acted like everything was normal! Each twin had their bed under the window, with dad tucking Tommy in, and mom the same with Billy. Their teeth were brushed, their pajamas were on. Billy had his Eeyore under his arm and they said god night, I love you. The day had been such a mess, nearly dying and dad finally coming home but mom acted like now, everything was fine. They were good and whole and home.
She said goodnight, sleep tight, and turned off the lights like they’d see each other in the morning. But that’s not what happened. They fell apart again, each twin screaming as the hex closed in until they fell apart all over again, until the world was gone and all they had was darkness and each other. He thought it was forever, until cold concrete began climbing at his knees. He felt felt each piece fit back together, each broken part until he was finally able to feel that his cheeks were wet. His little fingers came together before his face, and he immediately reached out.
Was anyone there for him to grab? Tommy? Tommy? even mom would be nice if she didn’t leave him to die again. His chest. Billy felt his chest and he heaved. He heard someone talk and finally, his face full (if wet) he blinked seeing a face. His fingers curled, desperate to hold on to anything after all that nothing. “I don’t want to go away! I don’t want to go away!”
Oh God, those tears broke his heart. This kid couldn’t be too much older than his own little boy, tucked safely in bed asleep at home.
