I Mean You No Harm

I am Wing, a Knight from the Circle of Light. I was killed in battle a long time ago and returned to life, through some miracle from Primus. I have been reunited with my mates, and despite all we have been through, Perce and and I decided to accept them into our family. I am part of a quatrine now, with Drift, Percy, and Perce (rifletotingscientist). I have five young creations, Skychaser, Sonata, Stormflight, Aircutter, and Klaive. Howl, Quark, and Halfpint are Perce's grown creations, who are like my own as well. I may have a family now, but I am still a Knight of the Circle. I may be the last of the Circle of Light, but I won't abandon our ideals. For ten long stellars we were cut off from the multiverse. During that time, the City has been rebuilt, the Circle is training new Knights, and happiest of all, my creations have been enjoying the peace and safety of our home. ------------------- ((Wing RP Blog, Post Drift Special, set sometime during the MTMTE comics. So I went ahead and posted up a GoFundMe.

People, this is as real as it gets. Even as I write this, I’m debating whether I should even post this or not. I’m scared to death that it’ll be ignored and nothing will come of it. There’s so many things going wrong in my life and I’m almost freaking out. I’ve never been one to beg and I really would appreciate it if people could at least take the time to donate a dollar or two.

For every donation made I can give something back as a thank you. Art, writing, graphics, anything. For Flight Rising people I can do dragon art and such but please be aware that it will take a while before progress can be posted as I don’t have internet access at home.

My own creators are here as well. Not all of the Circle survived, but those who did are home safely, and others have joined us here. It is such a joy to have my home back once more.

Beachcomber chuckled softly as he listened. He wasn’t going to ask questions now - Creators and Creations were something from a universe different than his own, and his nosiness could wait until later.

Instead he rumbled quietly with delight, “Be sure to spread that joy, Wing - in everything you do, every life you touch, keep that joy flowing light and easy. Never take it for granted, not that I suspect you will - you know what it’s like to be without. Now that you’ve regained it, I’m sure you’ll take good care of it, of them.”

Hah. Well, for starters, I’m no longer on the Lost Light. I’m pleased to say Crystal City has been restored.

How we got to this point is rather complicated. The bond to my sparkmates dissolved… and I ended up leaving the Lost Light with one of Perceptor’s alternates. It was simply for the peace of mind of not spending my days in a place that always reminded me of my mates.

Perce took care of me, took care of Skychaser. And I fell in love with him. We started courting, and we decided to return to Theophany, to rebuild the City.

We ended up reuniting with my former sparkmate, and it took a while, and a lot of discussion, but all four of us decided to bond. I’m now part of a quatrine, and we’re all very happy.

Drift is now a full Knight, and the two of us have taken on our first apprentice. Percy and Perce are teaching small classes now.

Life has been very good to my family.

Bizarre dreams never made for restful recharge. Wing groaned softly, rolling over in the over-sized berth, squirming closer to Percy. The taller mech was still deep in recharge, but the reaction to Wing's movement and unhappy field was automatic after so many stellars of bonding. Wing chirred as strong arms wrapped around him, pulling him against the scientist's lean frame. Wrapped in Perceptor's calm field, the jet nuzzled into his mate's neck, purring as a pair of servos stroked his flight panels soothingly. From behind him he could hear Drift's engine rumbling, and Wing purred happily. He rolled again, snuggling back up against Perceptor, and pulled Drift to him. Resting his helm on Drift's spaulder, Wing reached over the racer's frame and touched Perce's side. Percy's arms tightened around his waist, and Wing chirped softly. Much better. Wing purred, smiling as three engines started up as well. And then five softer, higher pitched purrs started. Wing lifted his helm and squinted at the not so little pile of youngling frames at the foot of the berth. He stretched one leg out, nudged a black and blue limb with his pede. Stormflight squirmed and purred harder, setting his four siblings to purring harder. Wing chuffed in sleepy amusement and laid his helm down on Drift's shoulder. They could talk to the little ones later about not invading their berth. For now, he'd enjoy the company, and especially the way Drift was rubbing his flight panels~. So relaxing.

Starscream managed to refrain from punching the smile, though it took some determination. “My universe’s medi-grade tastes just fine, thank you. No need to add anything. Though it’s good to know the exhaustion is nothing to worry about, I guess.”

He hesitated fro a kilk, then scowled. “No, alas, Knock Out isn’t my mate nor the co-creator, though it’s not for want of me trying to persuade him. I would adore him as a trine-mate, but he’s reluctant after losing his previous mate, afraid of the vulnerability of bonding, and,” he glowered at the other mech, “he’s lusting after someone else, someone who is completely oblivious to his processor state, and who I think doesn’t deserve to speak his name.”

He growled, then composed himself. “My bondmate and the sparkling’s co-creator is Flywheels, a triple-changer who suffered and terminated at the servos of the DJD. He’s nervous and has low self-esteem but he’s the sweetest, most compassionate mech you could wish to meet and I adore him. He’s incredibly talented artistically too. I am so very lucky. I just wish Knock Out would join us…”

Wing made a soft noise, reaching up to cover his face with a servo and vented slowly. Of course.

He straightened up, giving Starscream an apologetic look. “I am so very sorry, Starscream. I know Knock Out thinks very highly of me, but I didn’t realize it was causing problems.”

“There was a time I would have courted him, but I have my mates already. A quatrine is enough for me.” Wing vented deeply, shoulders slumping. “I was afraid of bonding once myself. I feared losing my bond mate.”

“The war is still raging in Knock Out’s universe. He probably fears leaving you and Flywheels behind, and… Barricade tried to pressure him into bonding. Be patient with him, Starscream.”

“I am truly sorry I’ve caused trouble for you and Flywheels. I’m sure you two will be happy with Knock Out, just give him some time.”

In a fit of illogic worthy of Megatron at his most psychotic, Starscream almost snarled at Wing for having the arrogance to assume he was the mech in question. However, attacking him for his smug, superior, ‘holier than though’ (as the humans would put it) attitude wouldn’t solve anything. Not to mention he didn’t have the space, here, for a fight.

“You really don’t know him at all, do you?” he growled, and rose to his pedes. He forced himself to be at least minimally polite, though only out of consideration for Teal. “Thank you for your time, and information. Hopefully we won’t need to meet again.”

Optics widening at the growl, Wing recoiled slightly from the other flier. He'd misjudged this conversation badly, his dismay plain on his faceplates and in his fields.

Remaining seated, not wishing to appear confrontational, Wing bowed his helm. If Starscream wished to leave, the Knight wouldn't attempt to stop. "I apologize for offending you. I do wish you the best of luck and health with your sparkling."
