“You paid us trinkets to kill a prince”
Tony + prince imagery is amazing and fascinating and I love it. I found this MCU Phase One Iron Man novelization I had and it has the story Yinsen told about the prince, and I swear I saw it on Tumblr somewhere before but search isn’t showing me anything. I’m going to transcribe it below since it’s across two pages:
Over the following twenty-four hours, the two of them worked feverishly: soldering circuits, connecting electronics, hammering metal–always carefully concealing their purpose from the watchful eyes of the warlord and his guards.
“My people have a story about a prince,” Yinsen said as he worked the salvaged metal. “The king hated the prince, so he banished him to the underworld and jailed him there.”
Sweat poured from Tony’s body as he beat the metal into shape. “Tell me,” he said.
“The king made the prince work the iron pits. Year after year, the prince mined the heavy ore, becoming so strong he could crush pieces of it together in his bare hands.”
Tony wiped the soot from his face.
“Too late the king realized his mistake,” Yinsen continued. “He took his finest sword and went to kill the prince. But when he struck, the sword broke in half. The prince himself had become as strong as iron.”
Tony lifted a glowing iron mask from the furnace. The mask was crude, but it would definitely suit his purpose.
“What next, young prince?” Yinsen asked.
This makes me happy

Lance’s life from his family’s point of view
part 2 (x)
part 3 (x)
Unpopular Voltron opinion, with meta to back it up.
I don’t think the big Keith and Lance scene in episode 6 was meant to be seen as having gone well, or for things to be getting back on track in regards to Lance’s doubts. I’m actually pretty sure the conversation unintentionally made things with Lance even worse.
Just because Keith and Lance shared a scene alone together, without any fighting or outward disagreements, does NOT mean it went well. I know everyone who is a Klance shipper wants that to be the case, but the whole “5 feet apart” jokes and logic with their ship shouldn’t suddenly change the emotional tone that is ACTUALLY present here.
Do not get me wrong, it is clear that both of them wanted this talk to go well without any confrontation, and to talk with a level head and with honesty. They have both grown as people to realize this. It doesn’t mean there wasn’t a major miscommunication here.
Lets go through this moment by moment, shall we?

GUYS CAN I JUST SAY THAT I REALLY LOVE THE IDEA OF HAVING LANGUAGE BARRIER BETWEEN KEITH AND LANCE Prompt by my cutest friend duren
it reached 35k notes HO L Y LIONS thank you guys
also since a lot have been asking, yes, i do plan onto making a continuation of it? maybe you guys have any suggestion on how it should go on next? just message me ayeeee!
hmmmm okay I know it’s not your point here but I need to digress a little and say I STRONGLY advise you to try to let go of this habit of drawing the perfect head before the rest. What if the head is perfect but then you hate everything else? In fact, I think your poses are at high risk of looking stiff and unnatural, trust me I’ve been there and we all struggle with gesture issues at some point. Gesture is much more about getting the movement and realness of the body than to focus on the perfect shape from the start, that comes later, and will look 100% better cuz it was executed over a solid and fluid concept of your idea. I won’t go deep into the subject rn but I’ll link some VERY helpful sources I’ve found!

Okay now for the actual question, I’m unsure of what about the head exactly you’re struggling with so I hope this is still helpful
Understanding the head shape is basically understanding the skull, trace over one for study purposes, then try simplifying the shapes you observe.
That’s usually the shape I use to sketch heads, it basically just indicates size and placement/format of the jawline. I start like this for all my drawings, like I said it doesn’t need to be perfect from the start, DON’T focus on details at this stage.
VERY roughly said the skull is round at the back and flatter on the front and sides.
Now if the details are what you’re struggling with, my advise is the same, observe and trace and study it, format, placement, proportions.
This is super generic. Remember that no two heads and no two faces are the same, so if you understand the basics you have in fact a LOT of creative freedom to explore the possibilities.
Stranger things <3 References are a godsend! Always use them when you’re struggling, use them when you aren’t struggling too. Trace over them to study as many faces as you like. After years of constant practice, I think I’m I’m pretty capable to pull off a good face without a reference, but my results always get IMMENSELY better when I use one nonetheless, so use them at your favor ;)
Magical beings are known. Tony is from one one the merman tribes that work with humans, and is engaged - against his will to Nanor. Tony meets Bucky when he's working at the harbor and they get along so well that Tony's mating instincts decides Bucky is a compatible partner and start the mating phases. When Bucky goes off to war so goes Tony, and they both fall into the hands of Hydra.
Thefirst time Bucky had kissed him, sitting together on the end of apier, Tony had told Bucky that the mer mated for life. “Kiss meagain,” Tony had said, “and you’ll never be rid of me. Nomatter how far you go, I’ll find you.”
Buckyhad wanted nothing more than Tony at his side forever, and so he hadkissed Tony again, slow and sweet, reveling in Tony’s cooler skin, the ridges of his gills just under Bucky’s fingers. Bucky hadpromised to love Tony forever.
Buckyhadn’t realized that Tony would follow him to war, though.
Thecells that Hydra threw them into were dark and cold, a thin trickleof icy water seeping through the walls. Bucky felt along the stonesuntil he found a patch of moss. He peeled it off and pressed thespongy mass to Tony’s wounds. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “Oh,gods, I’m sorry.”
Tony’shand pressed to Bucky’s face. “Shh. You’ve nothing to be sorryfor.”
“Ishould have sent you back as soon as you caught up with us,” Buckygasped. “Then at least you’d be free.”
Tonysniffed, a pale imitation of his most haughty attitude. “As if youcould have sentmeanywhere,” he said. “I’m a prince–”
Buckyhurriedly covered Tony’s mouth. “Don’t say that out loud,” hehissed.
Tonypulled Bucky’s hand from his mouth. “–of a man,” he concluded.“The sort of man who would never leave his mate to suffer suchindignity alone.”
“Youcan’t talk like that,” Bucky groaned. He sat back against thewall and pulled Tony into his lap to breathe the words in nearsilence. “If they know we’re mated, they’ll use us against eachother. Hurt you in order to make me talk.”
“Merare much stronger than humans,” Tony pointed out. “It will beunpleasant, but I will survive their primitive tortures.”
“They’llhurt me to break you,” Bucky warned, and felt Tony quivering withrage and uncertainty. Bucky closed his eyes and willed himself not tocry. “We’re going to die here.”
“Nonsense,”Tony said. He kissed Bucky gently, and fell silent.
