Hey, so this isn’t really a common thing I’ve heard, but I have seen some people have reservations about it, so I have a solution.

Some people are uncomfortable with the term f/o to describe familials and platonic because it’s a play on significant other, which others are a bit uncomfortable with (understandable, tbh)

A friend of mine came up with a suggestion - f/r, standing for fictional relative!

I’m gonna start using it and hopefully it catches on! Feel free to use it yourselves if it jives with you and spread it around :3
