archie keeps getting bottom-coded SOOOooOOOoooo hard by the narrative

it would have been feminist and also less stupid of nick st. clair if instead of forcing archie to watch him try and fail to rape veronica, he just raped archie himself and made veronica watch. imo. allowing veronica to get him alone is why he failed. yes archie would have died in this scenario but it WOULD have been feminist!!!!

finding out people who really did not care for betty while riverdale was airing were upset that betty usurps archie as defacto main character almost immediately. And it’s like on one level I get it but if you watch the show with your eyes and ears you will see that lili reinhart can act and kj apa can’t. So is it really any wonder why the writers wanted to throw all their most exciting plotlines at Betty.

I have to imagine trying to watch Riverdale is difficult if Betty isn’t your favorite character. Thankfully Betty is just one of the greatest tv characters of all time so that should only be a problem for not serious people
