My brother randomly told me something that really made me think.

About what "Protect the youth" has become. Idk what it was like in other countries and I know that it very likely could have been stricter than it was in my country back then. But generally:

He was like "When I was 16, there were two kinds of adult content: Horror movies and explicitly depicted sexual content. The first made me have nightmares, the latter (as in what you could get in video rental stores) generally wasn't of much interest to me because it wasn't something I, as a 16 year old, could relate to. And other sexual content that was interesting (and/or helpful) WAS freely accessible. So whenever I saw an "18+" label somewhere, I just completely ignored that content because I knew it wouldn't be interesting at all to me.

But NOW, what's declared 18+ is even an excessive amount of swear words in streams! NOW, when I see an "18+" label, I don't know if it's horror movies that'll give some 16 year olds nightmares, if it's completely unrelatable porn, OR if it's educational sex ed, a 20 year old talking about their really healthy relationship with their partner (that includes intimacy), education about consent in BDSM (which affects 16 year olds as well, there's no age limit to curiosity), a live stream of wholesome musicians who happen to drink a couple of beers during kind of therapeutic talks, or simply people who aren't puritans and say "fuck" a lot! An 18+ label isn't worth anything anymore!"

And yeah... That's just it.

People who talk about body changes during their (first!) puberty are even labelled adult content. Even though puberty very much happens BEFORE adulthood. It's helpful content for minors. And it's labelled "adult" to "protect the youth".

Nothing means anything anymore.

The common Archangel. 

 Humans from the neighboring villages pay tribute to the newly born Cherubs in the form of rye bread and simple cornmeals.

Cherubs stay in their infant stage for over 50 years and need constant attention before reaching adulthood. Their songs are said to be beautiful and differ for each listener.

Angels huddle with their brood under a halo nest adorned with the branches of the most sacred cemetery trees.

Brood parasitism occurs amongst different angel species, particularly from the Genus Bypochtbonia. The angel will snatch the cherub and replace it with a near identical offspring. The angel parents will then raise the parasite baby, unaware of the exchange.

Cherub parasites give out an incessant wail known as the ‘song of flesh,’ persistently demanding human souls to feed upon. Their fits of hunger are insatiable and the angel parents have no choice but to accommodate the parasite to the point of bursting.

Once the stomach lining of the cherub infant bursts, it leaves the nest to hunt for more human souls. Over time, a new intestinal system grows, along with a feathered wingspan to help it glide short distances.

 Archangels build large circular structures embedded with reflective glasses and crystals to ward off predators from their territory. 

 Most ‘ophanim arcs’ are built meticulously from dead trees and woven with vines. The arcs cause a feeling of unease in most life forms.

going to start researching sheep breeds that are like endangered or need conservation and then seek out their wool to use, preferably buying directly from the herders, so i can support them

i found a farm that has Navajo-Churro sheep and sells their wool as roving and yarn directly to the public, along with several other uncommon breeds :) website here

re: your tags, totally fine to reblog!! there's a whole database of farms im looking at now on the Livestock Conservancy website!! here's the link, all you have to do is select "yarn" or "fiber" from this drop down menu

and it'll give you contact info and websites to A BUNCH of small farms selling their heritage breed fiber directly!! you can also look up by animal breed if you want a specific kind of fiber like, say Navajo-Churro

it's AWESOME!! many of these farms seem to be certified by the Conservancy and the Conservancy itself seems to be like a good nonprofit
