Okay listen, this is a show about vampires, monsters, the problems with radical Christianity, and it’s got a lot of gore and blood and guts and shit. I realize there was no warning of sexual content but like... come on. If you can’t handle that you shouldn’t be watching the show?? The consensuality gets a little blurred, yes, but also need I remind you that Alucard is like 1000% stronger than them and could’ve stopped them at any time.

Taka and Sumi were fucking dumb for doing that just to kill him, but they genuinely cared about him for the time being, enough to give him the “reward”. Plus, Alucard was totally on board with it. After the initial kisses he was a lil confused but again, he could’ve totally stopped them. But he didn’t want to. Because he’s what? Touch starved. He hasn’t had any real intimate physical affection that didn’t come from a familial/platonic intent (like his mother or Sypha) so these two attractive humans who’re his new friends, that he enjoys getting along with want to kiss him and touch him and make him feel good? Hell yeah he’ll take it.

But that’s the the thing though. He trusted them. And they betrayed him. Even as they were doing so he pleaded with them to try and get them to see that he wasn’t trying to lie to them or hurt them. They were selfish, impatient, and wouldn’t listen. So they had to go. That broke his fucking heart.

I also don’t see any of you complaining about Hector and Lenore’s sex scene. Was that also not “sexual abuse” as you claim? She legit manipulated and seduced him, then manipulated him some more into swearing his loyalty to her. Completely took advantage of him. But y’all don’t wanna talk about that.

Not much to say about Trevor and Sypha except for the fact that they continue to be amazing and a good power couple and just incredible on all levels. I love them.

I liked the season. Am I mad Alucard is traumatized and will probably never let anyone touch him again? That Trevor and Sypha didn’t go home? That Lisa is in hell?
