In this AU, Leafpool finds out she's pregnant and goes to tell Crowfeather. She doesn't really expect him to be involved with the kits, but she feels he at least has the right to know. Crowfeather reacts... less than pleasantly. Dude just freaks out. He just got his life in WindClan back in order and now he has half-clan kits!? He shouts at her and tells her to give up the kits at the twolegplace or worse, drown them. When she hears that, Leafpool snaps. How could he say that about their kits, HER kits!? And she doesn't really mean for it to happen... but off the ledge he goes.

Simultaneously, Squirrelflight, sick of Brambleclaw's bullshit, takes him out on a solo patrol and kills him. It's something she's been planning for moons, and is ecstatic. Finally, freedom! But then her dear sister runs over to her, panicked, half coherently babbling about a pregnancy and a murder and she didn't mean to do it. So now, they have two bodies to take care of.

Squirrelfight goes through with her plan with Brambleclaw, leaving the body at the foot of a fox den. As for Crowfeather, he's dragged over the Thunderpath. And Squirrelflight raises Leafpool's kits with them being "the last gift Brambleclaw gave her".

Stop calling the crumbs shit. None of you realize how hard it is to photoshop crumbs falling mid-air via a birds-eye perspective. They don't just have 'mid-air granola crumbs' on google, no one has ever thought of photographing that before. I had to color a bunch of boulders brown. I had to find images of various boulders and color them brown, whnich yeah, when I say it out loud, does make it sound like a funny euphemism for shit, but it's really more of a light brown color and it took a lot of time and effort, so stop.
