"Can we just cuddle, together, alone, and silent?" You ask "Sure, annd you can tuck me into your arms, pull the blankets up, and tell me funny stories, as l wrap my hands around your neck and squeeze till you choke because I fucking hate cuddling." I respond.

in case you haven't heard, parts of venezuela were recently hit by a series of earthquakes, affecting communities across the country.
as venezuela is my home country, all of this hits especially close to home. thankfully, my family and loved ones are safe since they were in cities not as severely affected. however, many others have not been as fortunate and are now facing the aftermath of these events.
years of political and economic instability have left many communities with limited resources and infrastructure, making it even more difficult to respond to emergencies like this. there are reports of people who remain missing, and many families are still waiting for news about their loved ones. rescue efforts have been made even more difficult by shortages of equipment, ambulances, and other emergency resources needed to respond to a disaster of this scale.
if you're able to, please consider sharing information, supporting verified relief efforts, or simply helping spread awareness about what is happening.
here’s a link where you can donate if you can

A whole lot of military films will be coming out soon. You'll see older ones showing up on streaming service and new ones soon to follow. Sure, a few are, in fact, very good movies. But here's the caution:
Any film featuring the US military is paid for by the US military. They have the final word on what comes out. These films are recruitment tools. Same applies to TV shows, and doubtless many will soon be showing up.
Do not be fooled by these films and shows. They are designed to bring in new recruits. When these are released, there is a surge in new people enlisting in the military. These recruits swiftly discover they were fed bullshit, but now they're stuck due to a contract. Going AWOL, away without leave, is desertion. You will be caught and put on trial for desertion, and they are not light with the sentencing.
Please, for the love of fuck, do not enlist with the military. You are cannon fodder. They do not care about you.
Recruiters are told to lie. To do whatever it fucking takes to enlist new people. Do not fucking fall for it.
These films and shows are recruitment tools paid for by the military. It's why they're so big, glamorous, and quickly made. Enjoy what you see, but don't sign up. It's a fucking lie.

Donate to direct action and gaza municipality and watch your money go to the best cause - if we can be anything we should be efficient. The most effective money you can give is to direct action, to group movements to protect our insurgents from adventurism, to Gazan medical tent for emergency medical relief, to providing water and food for Gaza through grassroots campaigns such as the PFLP's and mutual aid projects, and to Gaza municipality for their infrastructure. These crucial resources for maintaining life remain underfunded. Support BDS however you can against Carrefour, HP, Puma and Siemens. Share the following toolkit with your union and movement:
share this frequently, please. or include these into other compilations. these are crucial and don't get as much attention. these are resources that benefit everyone.
In case people don't realize the full extent of what's going on, we are under siege in Minnesota. I live in an affluent, majority white suburb of Minneapolis, and ICE is all over the place terrorizing people. They showed up at the library, kitted out in their Temu tactical gear, and stormed it.
The library. Please let that sink in.
They've pulled weapons on legal observers and physically attacked them. They're threatening teenagers and children with death. One woman told a story at my, again, affluent, majority white suburban town's city council meeting this week of being shoved from behind so hard that she fell down by an ICE agent, who then said to her, "Stop touching me." A man, in tears and begging for our city government to do something to help our neighbors, described having a baton pulled on him. They're luring people out of their workplaces with lies about "hitting someone's car in the parking lot" and then abducting them. Citizens and legal residents are being detained. People are being racially profiled and snatched. A teenager (a US citizen) working at Target got dragged out and shoved in a car, then dumped a mile away in a Wal-mart parking lot, beaten up and crying. And all of this is after they murdered Renee Good.
I don't emphasize the demographics of my particular suburb to say "but this shouldn't be happening here, we have money!" but to illustrate that the Trump administration has declared war on a US state. Even if you stick your head in the sand because you're white and won't be directly targeted, ICE is running traffic lights, speeding, tearing the wrong way on one way streets, and causing nasty accidents because they think they're above the law. They think it doesn't matter who they hurt or kill, because they're being told straight from the top that they can do whatever they want to whoever they want.
We are all under attack, and this is coming to a city near you if we don't stand up to it. Please stand with Minnesota, as well as LA, Portland, Chicago, and every other place DHS has sent their COD cosplay gestapo. I don't know what that looks like for you but please, please, don't ignore this.
I live in Minneapolis. OP is not being dramatic. We will continue this fight, but please everything you can to stand with us because nobody in this country is safe if they get away with these crimes against humanity.
If you live in Minnesota, join the statewide economic shutdown and protest march on Friday, January 23!
ICE whistle resources - short bursts indicate ICE presence, long blasts indicate detainment or violence. Car horns can be used the same way. If you hear these signals and are part of a high-risk demographic, stay inside and lock your doors.

critically stagnant spotlight campaigns for today (11/21.)
individual posts for these campaigns are generally ignored. i suspect they’re just background noise for most people at this point. please don’t ignore this, you have the opportunity to throw someone a lifeline and do some real good. even if you don’t have any money, a reblog is free and can help get more eyes on these campaigns. none of them are on tumblr, to my knowledge. nobody sees these campaigns unless people reblog posts about them or make their own posts.
all campaigns are vetted by the organizers of gaza funds. for full transparency, a list of campaigns is available to view on their site.

Fuck I’m at a fencing tournament and literally a minute after I reblogged this my dad told me that he talked to the point people and I’m probably going to win a medal.
I need to follow up to say I reblogged this last night, and this morning I got some of the best news of my life, like, a life dream come true news thing.
FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.
Sorry for making another post like this but I’m in desperate need of help. The places I applied to didn’t work out so I’m currently trying to get SSI since I’ve been suffering with Major Depression since I was diagnosed at 23 and it’s only gotten worse. I also have digestive issues that would make it hard for me to properly work. I’ve submitted the stuff for SSI and I don’t know when that’ll go through. I’m late on a lot of payments and I don’t get paid enough from helping take care of the household stuff while living with my mother. I’ve been struggling a lot and I feel horrible asking for help again but Amazon is saying my payments are delinquent and I don’t have the money to pay. My cashapp is $MarshmallowMama and my PayPal is paypal.me/azizamcghee.
Go to paypal.me/azizamcghee and type in the amount. Since it’s PayPal, it's easy and secure. Don’t have a PayPal account? No worries.
Please do not purchase the latest iPhone. Boycott the launch and consider helping Barnabé! He is a student from DR of Congo, but he has suffered from kidney failure over the past 3 years! He needs a transplant as soon as possible! Please donate and share! You can match me! I have given €10, but you are more than welcome to contribute any amount!
Verification: His fundraiser is set up and vetted by Agissons Ensemble, a grassroots organization in Goma, DR Congo. They provide aid and support to displaced families on the ground. Check out their link.tree!
Tagging for reach. Please leave an ask if you wish to be removed. Thank you.
The last donation was made 10 days ago! ! ! Please donate and share. Barnabé is in his early 20s, has lost his mom who is his only family member, and is suffering from kidney failure! He needs medical treatment now! So let's reach the 3K ASAP! €2,693 has been raised. There is €307 left to go! ! !
Tagging for reach. Please leave an ask if you wish to be removed. Thank you.
It literally makes me feel like I'm losing my mind that almost no one in the global north on here will speak about, or even react to, the fact that the US is literally funding Israeli owned death traps for starving families.
The United States and Israel have made it impossible for all actual aid to enter Gaza. Then, private contractors from the United States created the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), with Israeli support, to "take over" aid distribution. They are preventing aid distribution by all humanitarian groups in Gaza that distribute aid in coordination with the U.N., and replacing them with GHF. These GHF sites are set up in collaboration with Israeli military to lure in starving families and gun them down.
Palestinians right here on tumblr have been discussing this for months, but so many people just reblog donation posts without even reading them.
Remember the post recently going around about ICE killing someone in California by throwing him off a roof and forcing all the witnesses to delete their footage (horrifying) where I added sources? that got SO many reactions in tags of "holy fuck" and "how is this happening" and general shock and outrage.
Even with all the reblogs, no one has reacted to my post about the food aid hubs in Gaza. Not even "no one has reacted with outrage," but just... no one has reacted in a way where it's clear they read it and felt or thought anything at all about it. Actually one person did, and it was a genocidal tangent dehumanizing Palestinians.
That's the state of things in the imperial core. Of the people who even pay attention, it's mostly people telling everyone else to tune out.
Hell, the US admits its doing this in our own papers. No one reacts. The US government doesn't need to hide anything cause everyone is willfully avoiding reading what we're doing to Palestine. It's grotesque.
Will you still reblog this post if I add links to fundraisers for my friends who are starving to death? Or will every last word blur into "oh this is a post asking for money, and nothing else about it is worth knowing"?
