Hello, everyone! Long time no nothing on here, I even lost access to this account due to some spam detector that decided I'm a threat.. 😅

Anyway, I got it back pretty fast with an email to support and here I am.

How are you? Still around? I have no doubt!

Guess what? I'm going this Thursday to the Hurts concert in UK and, this way, another wish of mine will become true. To see them in their home country.

It's a mad world but I'm so grateful that I got the chance to do this.

I have many things to say but I just hope all of you are good and you're excited about the short revival of our fandom. Take care and have fun! 🖤

Welcome to a blog entirely dedicated to “Don’t Let Go”

I made this blog as my entry for the HBAC 2015. I think that for many of fans it’s still hard to find “Don’t Let Go” online (it has only been available on Spotify in some countries). It’s a very interesting part of Hurts’ history and it’s a pity that many of us have limited access to it. I thought that our annual advent calendar initiative would be a perfect oportunity to do something with it.

What I did was that I uploaded each chapter of “Don’t Let Go”, which was once obtained by a member of Hurts Family (thank you!). Furthermore, I transcribed the whole thing, so it’s easier to follow the narration - this way it will be more convenient for people who don’t feel as strong with English language. In the end of each chapter you can click on the codes of the chapters of your choice and you will be redirected to the next post. Additionaly, the blog contains some information about the novel and the author. Feel free to explore the menu on the sidebar.

In a few cases I had to use soundcloud, as the files were too big for tumblr. Unfortunately, there are three chapters that I don’t have at all. So if you maybe have them, or if you have any comments, you notice a mistake, a typo, wrong transcription, or if a player doesn’t work - anything really! - then please contact me through my main blog, as I don’t really check this one :)

Anyway, enough blabbering. It’s time to start your own adventure…

Agh, feck, you're right. Sorry about that, apparently tumblr fucked this up somehow - I'm not sure, so much has changed around here over the years that tbh I don't even recognize the dashboard anymore, lol. And I'm actually low-key pissed, because I remember being quite satisfied with overall construction of this blog and it blew up apparently. Sadly, I can't even log in there, because I have no bloody idea what e-mail I even used (it might have been something custom made, especially for the purpose of this blog). It was... 9 years ago, omg.

Sigh. What can you do.

Well, I'm not sure if I have the transcript anymore, but I uploaded the recordings to google drive, so feel free to [download]. I think it lacks one recording, I think it someone I got it all from missed it while ripping of spotify?

Theo: I would’ve become a boring nerd, if I hadn’t met Adam. This happened in a parking lot outside a club in Manchester. It was four clock in the morning, and our friends were about to hew themselves.

Adam: We were a little apart, looked at each other and didn’t know what happened right now: Either we hit ourselves, just like our friends expect from us…

Theo: …or we drink a last beer. We chose for the beer and started talking about music. We decided in that night that we start a pop band that will conquer the world.

Adam: The next day Theo actually emailed me and asked when we meet at last, to make music. Then I knew: This guy means it seriously. Naturally no one knew what was the actual plan.
