For knb scenario, I'd like to request nijimura x momoi when they see each other again during a basketball tournament? Thanks.

Poor Momoi Satsuki had been standing at the closest vending machine for at least 5 minutes, buying drinks for her teammates like any good manager would. This task wouldn’t be so tedious if there weren’t so many of them, not to mention they all had to have something different

“Excuse me, is this gonna take much longer?” A masculine voice asked the pink haired girl from behind her. Crap, of course she wasn’t the only one who would want a drink. It was a rather warm day after all.

“Sorry!” Momoi apologised before gathering up the last drink and placing it in her bag before bowing to the male behind her.

“Momoi?” The voice suddenly exclaimed in surprise now that he had a good view of her. “Is that you?”

Looking up, Momoi almost squealed in delight at the familiar figure who stood in front of her. “Nijimura-Kun!” She cheered the raven’s name before wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. “I can’t believe it! I haven’t seen you in so long!”

“Y-yeah.” Nijimura stuttered, awkwardly hugging his former kouhai back. “What brings you here today?”

“Oh! We’re here for a tournament.” Momoi explained, jumping off of Nijimura excitedly.

“I take it that means Aomine’s here?” Nijimura asked, a tone of bitterness in his voice. One which Momoi didn’t seem to pick up on.

“Yeah! You should come and meet the team!”

“No, I think I’ll pass this time.” Nijimura looked away, a sudden, light blush blooming on his face. “But I wouldn’t mind seeing you again.”

Momoi giggled brightly, lifting the mood in an instant. “Okay, I’d like that too! I’d better get back to the others now. It was good to see you again, senpai!”

And just like that, Nijimura watched the bubbly, pink haired girl run off. An unfamiliar feeling crept up from the pit of his stomach to his heart, warming his whole body. Though he wasn’t sure why, he certainly looked forward to seeing her again.
