do you like having teeth? me too!! and i would really like to continue having them, if not as a 32 pearly whites hollywood smile kinda thing then at least as a healthy set of 28. thing is, between the pandemic, desperate attempts to get a degree, general burnout and a mentally ill brain, i never really had enough money on me this year to fix them. and i have already put off all the bills that are less than extremely urgent for until i get something more substantial than a stray job here n there - but teeth really dont like to wait and prefer to rot at their own pace instead.
and the way things are going, even keeping at least my front teeth whole and intact to see my 30s is proving a challenge, because i got a cavity in my upper front tooth, a pretty bad one and right there where it most visible every time i stretch my lips to smile.
december was hell, i kept constantly catching colds and the general malnourishment from the lack of normal eating put my health on a spectre somewhere between "scurvy enthusiast" and "a roadkill" and apparently no amount of oral hygiene can make up for that. it sucks, this sucks, and asking for money on the internet sucks, still i do very much enjoy having teeth, but [that shrek meme .jpg] my insurance doesnt even cover dental, so for now this seems like my best bet.
i need around 200$ which should be enough to cover the appointment, xrays and a tooth filling. so if you could donate? that would be stellar. if you cant but still read this far - i d appreciate a reblog. thank you very much either way!! oh and, even a dollar would help cause i m not a usa citizen and economy is in shambles, so currency exchange rates are off the shits.
