MGM Roast Beef - Washington DC

Are you in search for great sandwiches in the neighborhood of Brentwood near Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.? Look no further than MGM Roast Beef. Every great kind of sandwich you can imagine. This was my second shoot for EZCatering and after tasting the food here, I'll have to make another visit.

Pictured below, is the Brisket sandwich I enjoyed after all the menu items were photographed.

The Opportunity - 2017 Competition Round 1

I recently had the great pleasure of visiting Mix Master Studios in Burke, VA for the first round of the Opportunity's 2017 competition. Many young local artists from the DMV got the chance to record a song, interview with DJ Flexx, and be mentored by very talented musicians in the area. I personally got the chance to document these mini sessions occurring throughout the day. 

It's amazing to see musicians chase their dream and differentiate themselves from one another at such a young age. It reminds me of myself when I was their age. Also, it makes me proud to know that even in such a hard competitive working place where the landscape of the industry is always changing, they're willing to jump and go after what makes them happy and unique.

My photo coverage from the I.W. Harper Whiskey & Goorin Bros Event in Georgetown. Both companies linked up to launch the new hat called "The Harper". You will see it featured in a couple shots below. The more projects I take on, the more I see what this beautiful city of DC has to offer. Washington might be a small town, but it's got a lot of culture. As shown below, you'll see people getting sized for hats, tasting whiskey, and sharing laughs with other writers and bloggers from the area.

Palace of Versailles

What a truly unbelievable place to visit. I wish the sun would have been out that day, but I guess you can't have it all. The museum and palace were amazing. To think at some point this was someone's home is unreal. Then there's the garden outside, which I have no words to describe. I could've spent an entire week there. No joke. It was absolutely beautiful!

Chicken Rico

I suppose everyone will be seeing more food photography from me in the near future. Briefy, a German company, contacted and invited me to help photograph food for their latest project called "ezCater". Washington, DC is the next city to join their network. 

I'm not going to go into full detail about the ezCater project but if you can get any clues from the name, it's a food catering website. Instead of searching and wasting time calling restaurants all over town, ezCater gives you a listing of all the caterers in your city with menus and pricing. 

This selection of food I've posted is from Chicken Rico in Washington, DC. Great Peruvian food and the chicken is on point! Head into downtown and have a try for yourself!

Delight Quarry Timber Bridge

I was contracted by York Bridge Concepts, to acquire advertisement photos of their beautiful timber bridge they built in Reisterstown, MD this year. In order to document the bridge, I used my Nikon D810 with a 14-24mm and DJI 3 Professional Drone. Continue below to see the results!
