For the upcoming games are you going to be following the 2025 season in terms of who the Bengals played that year in real life and then kind of slotting Alex and the crew into place or free-styling the game schedules so it aligns with your plot? ALSO!! Is that Nick Leclaire character going to be making a comeback?? I was re- reading some chapters and the way he kept trying to shoot his shot with Alex was making me laugh 🤣 The concept of Joe getting all jealous and possessive and crashing out over not only girls but guys hitting on Alex is too hnghnfhfnd 🥴
STOP the concept of you waking up thinking about it. I love. On the schedule, it'll loosely follow that schedule, but deviate where I want it to. For example, there's a Vegas game and that didn't happen in reality and then I'm going to do an international game for funnies (I'm thinking Dublin?), and their bye week is going to be later than it was in reality. Plus, I'm not married to the same wins and losses, so those could be different too. And speaking of the schedule, YES, they're going to be playing the Dolphins and that means seeing Raf and Nick LeClaire. Alex muted his contact in Chicago but that does not mean at all he's not still lurking. Can you imagine Joe finding out about that right now? Oh my god. He'd freak out any time he heard about that but oh my god right now he would lose his shit. I say that, but he's kind of already losing his shit anyway lmfao. He would be like are you FUCKING kidding me and announce they hooked up at his next press conference to ward anyone else off. But I also love you're rereading too omg that means everything!!

It's prime missing mobm hours ❤️🔥, so I'm going to be nosy here with my questions lol
Is there a character in mobm or 193 you find the most difficult to write? Are there any scenes or even whole chapters you've had to completely scrap? I know you've had an extensive outline from the beginning, have you had to deviate much? Does the outline take you right up to the end or are you seeing where the characters lead you?
I'm just curious about the process, so only share what you're comfortable with. I hope you're doing alright!!
SORRY! I just posted. I missed writing big time omfg. And we still have so much to cover. But no!! Never nosey!! Getting questions is so coooooool. Okay. I'll answer them in order.
This is a good question and I thought about it a bunch. I don't know if anyone is really hard to write once I sit and dissociate enough and think about their motivations. I think at the beginning, Joe was hard to write for me because I didn't know exactly how he was thinking and feeling, but now I do. Once I nail that down, usually character interactions go pretty smoothly from there.
I don't scrap anything and that's why these stories are so damn long. I dive innnnnn fully and I feel like when I spent time on something, I don't get rid of it. Like I'll tweak stuff because I didn't get the tone just right but other times if a character says or does something that I didn't expect, I roll with it and use that to deepen them.
I've known from day one exactly how the story is going to flow and what's going to happen but sometimes they do deviate a little. The biggest deviation so far has been Alex showing up on that damn porch. I did not plan for him to do that, but I also connected it to some other motivation that he has later and Alex in my brain really wanted to so I was like yk what. Hell yeah. Let's go over there. It's going to work better later that way. Other than that, they are pretty much on track.
The outline takes me fully to an epilogue. It's taken longer to write than I thought it would only because I have included so much detail and made it so immersive, but it's on a track and leading there. Same with 193 although it's less detailed. I know like how things are going to go and how those two relationships will affect each other. I have like conversations between characters that are "months" away from where we are in the story in my notes app and my brain.
