my friend's discord server has a "proof of touch grass" channel where they post pics of them doing regular activities outdoors/in public. i think many online spaces could benefit from such a thing

when i was super depressed - like struggling to eat anything barely able to get out of bed to pee depressed - my good friend asked me every day to send her a picture of me holding a leaf and a picture of a meal i was eating and it helped me significantly

(also, she was never judgey - if my meal was a single potato chip she would simply say good job eating a potato chip today <3 )

which is to say, i agree proof of touch grass is a good idea for online spaces

Hello. Can I ask about Obsidian? what is it? note software? does it work on mobile? Can it support worldbuilding docs? How much does it cost?

It's actually free!! And I thiink it also has an app version, but I've only ever used it on pc. And it's perfect for world-building, I'm currently crafting and bringing over all of my homebrew stuff from my campaign, lol.

It can be suuper intimidating at first because there's just so much you can do, but I watched this Obsidian tutorial for beginners by CreaDev Labs, he explains the main functions super well! Essentially you create a vault where you can add articles that you backlink to each other to create a larger web (and the way it functions is SO easy, literally pressing a couple of keys and that's it). You can create templates for different things, mindmaps, tag systems. just.. a whole lot of stuff. And it's all hosted in your own files instead of somewhere in a cloud. (and then I watched this video by Power Word Spill to add dnd-related widgets to it. )
