Write everything you want on the piece of paper, but you have to start every sentence with “Thank you universe” and you have to fill the entire paper.

Bundle up the paper, whisper “thank you universe” five times before burning the paper until it’s only ashes.

Meditating With Your Deities!!
Ever since I thought of this last night, my guys have been hounding me to actually write it
(In a good way. They know I tend to forget things and they seem very excited to see this written out.)
Anyway, this is just how I prefer to do things, as per usual. Purely my own experiences. Even if you do this the exact same way as me, you’ll never see the same thing as me.
Everyone’s relationships are different!!
Now, I’d like to point out that you shouldn’t pressure yourself to do anything exactly the way anyone else does it, including my way. Doing things with my own spin on them was how I got this method.
Alright, with that out of the way, time to finally get started!
At the beginning, I just talked to my gods and tried to imagine them near me. Kind of like trying to mentally reach out and touch their energy (but not really. That’s just what it feels like)
For example, Ares has this really fiery presence. It’s sure and strong and warm and comforting, but also volatile.
(This is actually how I figured out what he feels like.)
You could also imagine them as a color and picture that surrounding you.
The main thing you’re trying to do here is listen. Don’t forget that. It doesn’t need to be fancy or complex or anything.
It’s just you and your gods.
Don’t forget that!!
Pray (or just talk) to them and tell them what you want to do. Address them and tell them you’d like to talk to them, or maybe even ask if they could let you feel their presence if you want.
If you don’t feel them there, don’t worry! I’ve only felt Hermes once, and I’ve known him for nearly a year. Meanwhile, I feel Ares around me quite frequently.
It just depends on the particular bond.
And just because you can’t feel them, that doesn’t mean they’re not there.
Even if you feel like you’re imagining their energy, that’s still a good mental practice! Anything that makes you feel closer to your gods is good!!
Even if you fail miserably (like I did at first) they’ll still love you!!
Anyway, usually I turn on some music, but not always. I’ll just zone out then. I don’t really know how to put the feeling into words besides that. It’s almost like slipping into sleep but not really. The closest word for it is probably “trance”.
Note: it’s best, for me at least, to do this sitting up so I don’t accidentally fall asleep. Which I’ve done,, many times. If you do fall asleep, that’s fine too. Don’t worry about it!
For a few attempts, all I was met with was blackness. But eventually a place popped into my head, either Apollo or Ares’s at first.
(Hermes insists that I call them “meditation stations”. Sometimes I can’t stand him.)
maybe in a different post I’ll describe my places I see, but they’re beautiful and so vivid. And when I say vivid, I mean so vivid that I can just draw it from my head, which I usually can’t do.
TL; DR?
Step one: Find a calm place you feel comfortable in. Either sit or lay down depending on personal preference. You can even stand if it makes you feel better.
Step two: Tell your deity you want to talk to them.
Step three: Zone out, either to music or your own thoughts (preferably about/to the deity you’re trying to reach)
Step four: Make sure you’re focusing on them and their energy. After a few attempts, you might be able to see a place that represents them. If you don’t, don’t worry! Everyone’s relationship is different!!
Step five: Pay attention to any changes in what you see, feel, and even think or hear. But try not to digest any of it until you get the whole message or else you’ll likely lose where you were.
Personally, I use these places to anchor myself while I’m trying to talk to my deities. Focusing on a place makes it where I have to put in less effort to hear my deities usually.
Note: you can also use this as a means of deity identification, now that I think of it! Just make sure you let your mind wander instead of thinking too hard.
Keep in mind this might not work for everyone!!
when in doubt, guided meditations are supposed to be great. You can find them on YouTube or even Spotify, I think. There are even some deity specific ones!
also remember: if a place feels like it just doesn’t fit, let go of it. Don’t force anything.

The “Mirror, Mirror” Shifting Method
This method has a couple parts to it so bear with me here, I promise it’s a good one. (Hopefully)
Mind Reprogramming (daily task)
Awake Method
or Sleep Method
Part I - Mind Reprogramming
This is the most important part of the method, so pay attention carefully.
If you’ve ever been to the spooky side of the internet, or even played spooky games at a sleepover you’ll probably have heard of the game I’m about to describe. If not, don’t worry, as I said, I’m about to describe it.
Basically, how the game works is you go into a room (usually a bathroom) that has a big enough mirror in it. You close the door, shut any window blinds, turn off the lights - basically make sure it’s pitch black and completely dark. Then the game gets spooky because your mind fills in the blanks and makes like, eyes behind you or warps your features. Some people control it and change their surroundings to purposefully scare themselves or others when recounting their time.
The Reprogramming works in a similar way/works off of this.
To reprogram your mind, go into the pitch dark room with the mirror and stand in front of it like in the game. Instead of spooky things, however, imagine you look like your DRself. Basically, help your mind “fill in the blanks” and spend 10-15 minutes doing this and “seeing” your DRself in the mirror. You can go as far as trying to invision the bathroom/equivalent room and getting it to look like the one in your DR.
I suggest doing this 3-5 times a day in order to reprogram your mind and get it used to seeing this DRself and associating it as being you. (Because it is.)
Part II - The Awake Method
This is method ½ and is for if you prefer or want to try doing it as an Awake Method. Sit in a comfortable spot, on a bed, in a chair, on your couch, wherever it is you want to shift. Then take some deep breaths and close your eyes. Start visualizing, you can affirm if you’d like to during the method, but you don’t have to. It’s recommended to affirm before beginning.
With your eyes closed, visualize yourself (in first or third person, however is easiest for you) exactly as you are in your CR. You’re in the room with the mirror, the one from the CR, but it looks bright in your mind’s eye. Visualize that the room is lit, basically. Now visualize yourself approaching the mirror.
At the mirror you see your DRself (the one you’ve been seeing in step 1) and they mirror your actions. They look just like your mind remembers. Then, visualize the bathroom behind them. Visualize them reaching through the mirror slowly, affirming that you are them, and offering you their hand. Visualize that they ask if you are ready.
If you aren’t ready allow your DRself to continue affirming that you are shifting to them. If you are ready then take their hand and try as hard as you can to visualize the entirety of that bathroom. Imagine them pulling you through and you fall into them, colliding and lying on the floor of your DR. Visualize yourself getting up and looking in the mirror. You see only your DR bathroom behind you in the mirror, and you are your DRself in the mirror.
Take a breath and close your eyes. Do a final round of affirming as your DRself, then open your eyes and see that you’ve shifted.
Part III - The Sleep Method
This is method 2/2 and is a sleep method. To do this method please go lie down on your bed, a couch, or wherever it is you plan to fall asleep and shift. Take some deep breaths and affirm a bit while you calm down. Then close your eyes and do a few more affirmations. It’s just about time to begin visualizing, and you can affirm if you’d like whenever you want during the method, but the only time you really should is towards the end and right before starting the method.

Turning to the door of the bathroom, imagine that it attaches to your DR bedroom, and take a moment to visualize that and build it up in your mind’s eye. You are shifting, so it may take a second or two to fully become apparent, and even if you’ve only got a vague clue or a vibe of the bedroom it’ll be fine walk into. Visualize your DRself going to the bed in your DR bedroom and lying in it. Fall asleep in your DR bed repeating the line “I am shifting, I have shifted” or something like it until you fall asleep. When you wake up you will have shifted.
Important Notes:
It is not guaranteed that you will shift with this method, as everyone is different - but the method and the reprogramming will at worst do nothing but familiarize your mind with the image of you as your DRself.
If you have trouble visualizing, don’t worry, visualize whatever feels natural, and don’t linger too much on one spot or another.
You will shift, you have the power to do so. You are capable, and strong, and worthy.

final notes:
before i end this post, i want to talk about a few misconceptions about shifting. i plan to do a longer post to bust all the rumours and wrongful stereotypes, but there are three that i think are the most important to talk and I want to cram it in as my conclusion.
Scripting deprives dr people of their choice to consent.
Not true! I mostly see this in association to romantic relationships with comfort characters, and while I can see where this stems from, this is simply not the case.
I will try explain this simply.
When you script, you’re booking tickets for a destination you can’t seem to remember the name of. So you call a travel agent (the universe), and you start describing the elements of this place you want to go to (your dr), the things you’ll be able to do there, the things you want to be able to experience, and everything that connects to what you want from your destination.
Now, I’m going to put the stress on the tickets, part. You’re booking tickets to a place that already exists.
So everything you want to happen is meant to happen, anyway.
Summary: Scripting is basically you booking tickets to a reality that already exists. Everything you want to happen is meant to happen, and every you want to have happened already happened, and not because you said it would, but because the universe did.
You just happened to be booking tickets without the name in mind but the traits figured out, and the universe knew exactly what you were talking about and where you wanted to go.
Scripting controls your dr completely.
You can’t script to pursue a god complex.
You aren’t making your desired reality. It already exists. As I said earlier, your script is like your tickets to your dr. And your dr is full of real people with real feelings, and they can do whatever they want. Yes, you’ve scripted. But the things you want to happen are destined to happen anyway, and leading up to those moments, you won’t be planning ever single interaction and day that you have.
Summary: This is untrue. Please don’t be a jerk to the people of your desired reality, it’s manipulative and toxic. These are real people. You experience your scenarios because they’re going to happen anyway, but you aren’t controlling the events leading up to them. The only thing you can control is you.
