would it be a stretch to say that everybody loves raymond is one of the most misunderstood shows ever

because SO many people completely miss the point of the show and it drives me up the wall

and again all the ripoffs also completely missed the damn point and they failed to realize why raymond actually WORKED

raymond was a show that many tried to imitate but none could replicate…. but why blame the originator when the imitators have done far worse???

i KNOW I KNOWW “it’s just a sitcom” but they actually TRIED to give it depth and it WORKED
