A graceful creature of the seafloor, a sea pen resembles a plump, old-fashioned quill pen. Its colors range from dark orange to yellow to white. Each sea pen is a colony of polyps (small anemonelike individuals) working together for the survival of the whole. (Source)

growing up as a fat girl is actually traumatizing and destroys your respect for your own body. bullying you, abusing you, mocking you, all of this is seen as acceptable because its supposedly “discouraging an unhealthy body type.”
my mother never stood up for me when i was picked on for my weight by older family members. she would laugh in my face if i made any indication of liking my body. think about that.
we are not allowed to post selfies or any picture where we like our appearance, without getting comments about how unhealthy we supposedly are
“you dont like it? lose some weight” is the only reponse we get when we are tired of being treated cruelly by our peers, our families, and the media
i have been fat my whole life. i will probably never be thin. and i am not trying to be! i think my weight is attractive! i like taking up space! i like how i look! i am PERFECTLY healthy! im not changing my body just because youre grossed out by a little jiggle! it should be outrageous to even suggest that!
its okay to use our bodies as an insult, its okay to complain about how you think youre starting to look like us, its okay to only ever portray us as food-obsessed slobs, its okay to take pictures of us in public without our consent so you can laugh at our bodies
and we are LITERALLY the only people who care! we are the only people that see anything wrong with treating us like this!
EDIT: transphobes stay the fuck away from this post, you people do NOTHING but body shame and i hate each and every one of you.
